{Okay, sorry for such a failure of a first post, I just need to get into things ^^}

• Leila Tallulah Gray •
Leila was wandering, as per usual. She had been living in this town for just over a week, and she barely knew where she was going. She strolled down the pavement of a street she hadn't been on before, then crossed the road, turned a corner and continued to stride, to where exactly she wasn't sure. Stuck in her day dreams as usual, she didn't see the little cafe sign in front of her, and nearly tripped over it. Stumbling slightly, and blushing lightly due to her silliness, she fixed up the sign and glanced up. Her grey eyes found the cafe right next to her, and, feeling a little ravenous, Leila slipped into the cafe.
Queueing for a couple of minutes, she soon had a cup of steaming-hot coffee rested in her hands. Plopping herself down at a small table by herself, she peeled off her lightweight coat and threw it over the back of her chair. Taking a cautious sip from the boiling-hot drink, she flinched; it was still hot.
She perked her head up, taking in her surroundings. Everything was so new to her, she didn't know where to begin.

Rayden Pikke
It kills me not to know this, but
I've all but just forgotten...What the color of her eyes were and her scars or how she got them.

°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
Rayden saw something flash across Arilynn's face. Anger? His question was quickly answered when she turned to face the old woman and called her out, just as he tried to avoid. For a second, his eyes grew wide in shock, but he quickly recovered. Hoping to god that Arilynn hadn't noticed. He turned his head again to see the old lady with her mouth opening and closing again as if searching for the right words. He couldn't help but throw his head back and laugh, the sound echoing off the stone walls of the subway. He noticed a few others staring at them now that tension had exploded into the air, like electricity. Worse then school kids when a fight breaks out in the playground, he thought, a wide smirk on his face. Laughter boiled up in him again, but this time, he fought to keep it down. "She had it coming," he said. His face glittering with amusement. Why hadn't I thought of that?!

He glanced around the almost-empty subway tunnel, at the people who now stole looks at them. He didn't care though. "
I don't have anywhere to be either," he said. "I figured I'd just take the train around town today." He thought about his mom back at home, she would be getting up soon and wondering where he was. But she wouldn't worry. "I've seen creepier people then you," he said, shrugging. A weird smile twisted onto his face. The kind that appears when your trying to be funny, but you know your boundaries. He meant it in a playful way, as if you could take something like that as an insult. He looked at her, waiting for her answer. Your staring... he reminded himself. But instead of looking away, he studied her, looking for any sign that she didn't like his company. If he found a trace, he could leave...

Steven "Stevie" Alex Henry

"Thank you!" Stevie called back to the boy. As soon as she did, the boy's dog came sprinting over. She braced herself as the dog came towards her, only to find that the dog stopped just inches before her knees. Picking up the dog's leash, Stevie walked over to the boy. When she reached him, she ask, "Are you all right?" Though it was obvious he wasn't. Both his knees and his elbows were dripping blood. "Should I run and get some bandages?" She asked, staring at the blood. What she couldn't figure out is why he was smiling and laughing. If it were her, she would be biting her lower lip and holding back tears.

When she smiles...
Well, it makes me smile too.

"Thank you." Devon said, getting out his wallet. He pulled out $4.20, and handed it to her. He thought it was a bit strange to be asked for payment without the receipt, but paid her none the less. "Why does Chicago have to be so expensive? Thank God it's half price." He thought, pulling his cookie towards him. The cookie was still warm, and it was chocolate chip. The scent wafted up to his nose, causing him to smile. After all, who didn't love warm chocolate chip cookies?

Then Devon pulled the frappuccino towards him. He could feel the ice through the thin plastic, as well as hear it. He unwrapped the straw, and stuck it in to the whipped cream. He picked up the drink, and took a sip. It was really good. He figured that he would have to leave a tip, for prompt service and good food.

Tyson
When Tyson heard bandages he just smiled at her. “I can walk, I think it would be better if I just went you your house.” He paused for a moment and frowned “Not to be creepy, I promise im not a stalker!” he yelled over with a laugh. Slowly he started to slowly walk over to the girl. His knees started to bleed even more heavily than before. Tyson smiled and looked at his akita. “You are such an evil dog.” He told Zure. The dog seemed to understand and she barked a frightening but happy bark. Tyson laughed and looked at the girl. “I’ve had worse.” He told her with a reassuring smile. His blonde hair had streaks of blood in it and he looked down at his skinless knees. Although this looked bad, he did have worse.

"Well um, okay." Stevie said, offering the boy her elbow to help him walk. "I'll right over there, in that flat, fifteenth floor." She said, pointing at her apartment. Looking down at the boy's knees, then up at his hair, Stevie exclaimed, "Blimey! You really, really need to get cleaned up! Are you positive that you don't need bandages? Or at least...Ehr, what's it called? Plaster, ehr, Band-Aids!"

Arilynn:

Mild surprise flit like a sparrow across her face when his laugh echoed through the empty subway station, but it was gone faster than it had come. She chuckled quietly. "I just wish her stupid dog would shut up as quickly as she stopped staring." Sure enough, the spoiled mutt was still stealing barks and yips and growls, though subdued, in their direction. Arilynn raised her eyebrows high, ignoring the yapping dog. She heard the laughter constricted in his voice, as if he were trying not to, and she felt slightly accomplished, having made someone laugh. But, she just kicked her legs back and foreth, looking down at her feet. When Rayden answered her, she smirked innocently, her eyes brightening a bit. "Well," She began, her voice light with playful sarcasm, joking and quiet, but in the subway with it's high ceilings and long walls, it was like thunder. "Looks like I'll have to try harder to be the creepiest, eh?" S***, that must've sounded weird. Erm.. She laughed it away, hoping he wouldn't think of her as complete freak of nature, but realizing there was nothing she could do about it if he did, she shrugged it off. "Great minds think alike, I guess." She offered to his answer of where he was heading. She smirked again, her lips twisting upward as she fiddled even more with her shredded swear sleeve. She tapped her ratty black converse together to their own off-beat rhythem, her long dark hair framing her face.

David
w/ Arizona

“Ya, I love my name I think the state is cool too. Its rocky though and over there ya cant grow many flowers” with her thick southern draw flowers sounded like “fla-ers” Arizona stopped to sip her dark coffee. “I love Texas, nice place there some ah my cousins live around Dallas, Austin is nice though. Originally I’m from New Mexico. I moved to West Virginia when I was about 8, I think. Over there you can grow lots a pretty flowers.”

Suddenly the girl looked thoughtful, almost nostalgic. He wandered if she missed her home, probably. He knew he missed his. She went on and on about flowers, it was sweet. A little quaint maybe, for his taste, but sweet. She started to open her brown bag, “Not to be weird or any thin, but what did you get for breakfast?I got a bagel with cream cheese.”

David smiled, "Blueberry Muffin." He took his own breakfast out of his bag as if offering proof. "Supposedly blueberries are some sort of super fruit, though I think the muffin itself might cancel that out." He took another sip of his coffee, "I work here most days, though usually I'm in the back. Its supposed to be my day off, but somehow I ended up here anyway, and I figure Tiki would be disappointed if I didn't bring her some Carrot Cake."

In agreement, Rayden nodded his head. That dog does need to shut up, he thought. Now he looked around both ways down the tunnel, as if he was at an intersection where cars could cross his path at any moment. Maybe I should go. He could see the anger growing in the old lady the more they talked about her. Still, she has the option to leave too, he thought ignorantly. Turning back to Arilynn, he ran a hand over his hair, thinking of what to say. They obviously weren't having a good time here.

When she answered him, he laughed, catching the hint that she was nervous about what she said. "
Eh, being creepy isn't what its racked up to be," he joked, hinting at the fact that he had a taste of what it was like to be considered creepy. Once again, he looked up and down the tunnel. "Hey. You want to go get a coffee, or something?" he said awkwardly. He hoped that she didn't think it was a date or anything, Jeez! They just met! "That is, unless you want to listen to this mutt yap its brains out all day," he added, standing up and waiting for her to stand up and go with him. Truth was, he didn't know if she would go with him or not. She didn't have to.
