She opened the large barn doors that housed more than two dozen horses. They had been ridden by obnoxious tourists, awkward people who barely knew what a horse looked like, and morons, she hoped that none of the students fell into any of those categories. "Alright, all the horses ride the same, just pick one," she smiled. As she loaded the last of the bags onto the John Deer ATV. The rangers who helped manage the park were helping the others with the horses had made her job a little easier.

He had ridden a horse or two in his time, but he wasn't going to get in anyone's way. The park ranger stepped up and with god-speed saddled the Palomino. "Alright, ole' Buck knows what he's doing. You won't have to do much, he'll follow Ms. McKinney on the ATV," the ranger said, and with a tip of his hat, he left the barn. Alex was little surprised at how quickly the ranger had came and left. Feeling a little awkward, Alex stepped to the side of the horse. "Hello, Buck. My name's Alex and I''ll be riding you today."
