personality:
Matilda is on the quieter side, but she is neither shy nor completely silent. She just isn't the crazy the girl who yells and does insane things. Instead, she observes the crazy antics of others and laughs when a risque joke is made, but she herself prefers to speak about different matter. Deep, intellectual conversations are her greatest love, especially when it is about music. Watching movies is her favorite passtime, next to playing the cello. I think the best way to describe it is she has a serene mind. Her thoughts a simple and flow easily, so she feels no need for spontaniety. She follows a rythmn, as if life has its own beat, and she rarely strays from her routine. Her mind is active, though, because she likes to think about things she deems magical, and of course she reads. Music, though, is her greatest love and is the only thing that can break a smile from her elven face. Matilda lives through music, drawing her very emotions from it. If you catch her with headphones in her ears, you may see the "real" her. But if you don't, that is fine as well, for she is a generally happy person.

About 2 or so years ago, for college.

history:
Matilda was a cello 'prodigy' when she was younger, mostly because her parents made her play 24/7. Because of this, she didn't get to experience the normal childhood of every other kid, but she didn't mind exactly. Music was a fine companion for her and it helped her avoid the rough, middle school years many dread and cringe at. Of course, when high school rolled around, she demanded a social life, so she ended up at school for the arts, which led her to the art school in Denver. It was there where she met Jeremy. Life was so beautiful after she fell in love. Her music became something worth listening to and her heart was on fire with happiness. So, when it all ended, nothingness set in quickly. Matilda never cried, heck, she didn't even miss a beat in her life. The only sign of loss was the sound of cello as if descened into the minor chords and eventually faded away. Now, she only plays because the school demands it from her, and because she refuses to give up. But the music she used to play before everything happened, is gone.
