    "G.enevieve L.orraine V.ertiline at your service."

A small smile seemed to reveal a noting of curiosity. Her eyes showed her that though the dusk was approaching, it was hardly a time to rest. The fire seemed to dance before her, and she tilted her head a tad allowing her ebony hair to fall off her shoulders a tad the curls seeming to sway a tad before coming to a pause. The flames seemed to leap, almost seeming to want to escape into the darkening sky and until a few children ran by, laughing cheerfully she hardly noticed that she had been staring at the simple flames for quite some time.
Returning her head to a rather upright position, Genevieve knelt down, picking up three solid seeming sticks that were roughly the same size that the flames had yet to touch, and maintaining the smile, she lit the tips of the three branches to reveal a torch that she now held in her hand. Placing two in her right hand and the remaining one in her left hand, she listened to the steady beat of the music that she heard near her that others danced and sang to in an attempt to find a juggling pace.
She was slow at first, but as she saw the flames spreading a tad she sped up her pace, continuing to spin and juggle the flaming sticks. It was odd, she was one of the few, rather possibly the only woman among the others that acted the way that she did, and then again another point of her oddity was the clothing that she wore. She wore dark pants, rather than a skirt as the others did, her top was of course similar to the other women, being a tied top that revealed her bare stomach. Her shoes were simple and dark, and atop her head she wore a unique hat that she'd had to search a great many towns to find that was dark in color matching both her bottoms and shoes in color. Glancing at the others about the fire, her smile softened a tad and she glanced at the children as they ran about and played amongst themselves.

Alexander Foreman Gray

Alexander used his 100 watt smile to lure people over to his fire and grinned. He used his hand and hands to tell stories. Most wore folk lore and legends passed down in his generations. He gave a private wink to a young maiden and she giggled. Her father glared at him and rushed her on. He glanced over to see a maiden juggling fire sticks and got curious. He waited for a moment, crossing his flat muscles arms and pursed his lips. He was caught back to reality by a escaping spark that lit on his trousers. He growled in surprise and put it out before it could grow. A small burn hole singed into the sleeve. He sighed and stood up and looked at the children running around giggling. He listened attentively to them as a few pretended to be the persona's in his stories he had just spoken to them about!

Whisper Carena Gray

The slender toros of a girl moved side to side as if it was a snake. She turned and finished her dance with a delicate bow. She stood back up straight and threw her head back and laughed, the melodic noise flew into the air and flooded into her ears. She picked her head back up. The setting sun melted into the horizon like hershy's chocolate bar into a hot skillet. The moon was high into the sky. She backed out of the smoldering fire to cool off. She swept herself onto her knees and sat on a patch of moonlit grass. The grass left her skin creamy and silver looking, her long hair was slicked silver and pale white, making her face look softer and lighter. Her brilliant emerald eyes were wide and innocent looking.

Meadow Rose Mason || 20 || Gypsy Dancer

Postby {My}Neverland » Fri Oct 28, 2011 8:09 am

Her eyes shimmered with the lights that came from the lanterns, hanging on the traveling wagons. Her hair was perfectly put up in a messy bun that was easy to pull out. Her lips were fixed into a soft small that warmed the hearts of the little village children who passed her by, entranced by the lights, dancers, and the soft music that wafted through the crowd. Everywhere she turned her head, a person was happy, enjoying themselves here. As she gracefully moved through the crowd, she noticed some of the gypsy dancer's she'd met or seen earlier. She nodded to them once then went on. Her skirt was flowing behind her and her coin top was jingling with every delicate move of her body. Her feet were bare, as usual but they were soft to the touch. Meadow finally maneuvered her way to her own wagon, where her sleeping brother lay. She smiled at his unruly stage then started to dance gracefully near her fire that was maintained by a helpful neighbor. As the fire light licked the darkening night, her arms and legs and body moved as one with the fire.

Garridan
Alone in the wind and the rain you left me
It's getting dark darling, too dark to see
And I'm on my knees, and your faith in shreds, it seems

Garridan weaved skillfully through the gathering crowd of villagers, a small smile gracing his usually grim face. Generally, it was too dangerous to try doing his work during the day; he was to easily seen. But at night, he could blend into the shadows, move swiftly without being seen. Boris padded beside him, often having to avoid being trampled by the crowd. Occasionally, Garridan's hand would shoot out, quick as lightning, snatching a purse or gold, even an item of jewelry if the villager was sufficiently entranced with the spectacle before them. Sometimes Boris would dart of, returning moments later with a valuable item clutched in his mouth; Garridan had trained the cream-colored ferret well. However, he was incredibly selective with his 'victims'. No matter what some people may think about gypsies, Garridan did have a moral code; he only stole from people who looked like they could afford it, or looked like they deserved it.

This was what he was good at. Though Garridan could just about juggle and he knew enough magic to entertain the children, thievery was his true skill. It was one of the few times he was glad of his small stature as well. Though being shorter than most of the women among the gypsies- let alone the men- opened him up to mocking it also made him much harder to notice.

Noticing the satchel he had hung on one shoulder was full, Garridan gave a small whistle to Boris and weaved his way through the crowd of villagers and past the fire that several women were dancing beside. He was heading to the gypsy camp to examine his catch and store it safely before heading back out.

On the way, he bumped into Briar. Muttering an apology to the animal trainer, he gave the other man a small smile (though he was internally scowling about that fact that he had to crane his neck to look Briar in the eye). Boris, sensing the other ferret was nearby, clambered onto Garridan's shoulder and began to make the low chuckling sound that only ferrets could do.

((Seriously, I own three ferrets and they make the weirdest sounds ever

I'll do Amory's later ))

I am the sword in the darkness.
I am the watcher on the wall
I am the fire that burns against cold
The light that brings the dawn
The horn that wakes the sleepers
The shield that guards the realms of men
For this night, and all nights to come.

Kill the boy and let the man be born'

Whisper Carena Grey

Whisper caught sight of a young fellow. He bumped into a man and he had a ferret on his shoulder. How odd! Whisper herself had no pets but Alexander had his snakes. Speaking of which!, She let out a loud yelp as Isara, Alexander's Leurtistic ball python slithered up her arm and coiled around her. She tensed up, terrified of snakes and spiders. "Please get off." She bit her lip to keep from sobbing. She was terrified and stiff. She couldn't do more then stare the horrendous creature(So she thought) In the eye. She prayed that her brother would come in search of his missing serpent and rip it off of her. But he never came. Nor did her sister, who was busy observing and now tapping her tambourine on her hip. She sat there under the faint moonlight, her bright green eyes bleary and filled with tears to the brim.

Alexander Foreman Grey

Alexander was crouched in front of his fire. Tossing seasalt-seaweed onto the fire and made it crackle and change colors. A young maiden happened to walk past and Alexander winked at her to anger her father. She giggled and blushed and her father rushed her on and gave him a very dirty look and a crude gesture. Alexander narrowed his eyes. Not liking this man's attitude. He snorted in laughter at the man's expression and tossed his head back, laughing hard. Unable to stifle it. The man went to walk to him but his daughter and wife pleaded and nearly cried. Saying soothing words and saying it was a joyous night, do not ruin it.

Lena

Take a breath, and hold it on.
I will always be here,
For the rest of my life.
I am the one you left behind.
But don't carry me under.

Dancing by the campfire sounded nice, if it was so crowed with people watching the other dances shake they're butts. Its what it all seemed to be, to other people. But to Lena's people, it was so much more. The dancers would roll they're stomachs, stomp they're feet on the ground to make their bells ring. Move they're hands in positions they would only know what the shapes meant. Lena enjoyed dancing.. Alone... With no one watching. If someone was watching her dance, she would freeze up and get embarrassed. She wish she didn't though. It was in her blood to dance alone in front of a crowd. Her mother did it, and so did her grandmother. But Lena was just to shy to move her body in front of anyone but herself. Sure, she loved to dance. It was one of her favorite things to do. Maybe she was just afraid someone would point and laugh at her. Or start hissing of disgust when she danced. Lena was fine when she was with a group. It made her feel slightly more relaxed, since people weren't only watching her. She would stand in the back, while other girls, more pretty girls; in the front would show off they're hips. She would just dancing in the back, jiggling to the beat of the feet stomping on the grass covered ground.
Lena pushed all those haunting thoughts, that made her feel like she was worth nothing, a side. She would think about those later. Lena jumped off her wagon, and turned her head to the sound of juggling bells that didn't come from her ankles, but from girls dancing by the campfire. Lena rolled her bright green eyes. If only she could do that.. Lena growls at her thoughts, there she goes again. Lena sighed and walked away from the campfire. She looked up at the sky, it was becoming dusk. The sun setting to the ground, letting the dark start its long hours. Lena stretched out her arms, and started to walk around. She was new to this city. All of them were. Sure, she knew that village people didn't like her kind. But she didn't care. Lena always loved to see how the scenery was when her group came to a new village. She wasn't going to talk to anyone. She would ignore the mean glares, and the curious stares at her bright clothes, and bells tied to her ankles and wrist.

[[ I will post for Finn later. I have to think of this way of writing looks good. At the top right it looks too... blank. Plus I need to clean the kitchen. ]]

Rain
The child reached an open square, and after lithely weaving through the masses of villagers congregating there, she found herself standing near a old oak. Though her spirits weren't the best, as she couldn't perform her best acts without a horse, she smiled warmly at those who met her eye. Without much of a dramatic start, she began to sing an old song "a capella", starting in a soft voice.

((I hope this is okay, even though it isn't a traditional song for them, because it is so d*** pretty.))
"Ne, in this world, are there things that still do not change?
Ne, in this heart, are there still things that needs to be told?
In the depths of night, morning awaits, and so the days, they repeat...
Ne, even if you should forget that promise...
Ne, I just hope that this voice reaches you. Aa~
From the end to the beginning...
Today, it starts with overflowing tears.
Faraway, faraway, as the shadows of the past continues searching for that light
Faraway, faraway, as I try to catch whatever heat that's left so that I won't disappear...
And the light and the darkness, they intersect.
Something must lie beyond........"
We're both aboard on an airship as it flies
And it's chasing for a star hiding from our eyes
And before all our feelings will subside
Let's escape past the air, the atmosphere

My eyes they looked into the night sky a bit too much
And then found light it turned into a painful touch
If this world will keep on spinning in the time ahead
You should go and find a reason to live on instead
Saying bye this afternoon is really too soon

Briar

Briar stepped back, catching his balance, at the collision. He had been lost in his thoughts and hadn't noticed Garridan's approach. "No, it was my fault," he tilted his head in a apologetic nod.
Gaze lifting to the ferret that scurried up the thief's shoulder; a smile appearing on his face at the sight of the animal. Any creature, other then man, could bring a smile to his face. The bag, slung over his shoulder and across his chest, rustled at his waist. A masked face poked from the top, making a similar noise at Boris. Scurrying and wriggling, with a lot of effort and persistence, he climbed from the sack. He toppled over the edge, plummeting straight toward the earth. In one swift movement Briar caught him around the middle, lifting him up and against his chest, saving him from his near collision with the ground. Gwyn wiggled in his grasp, wanting to go say hello to Boris. He was used to being around a number of types of animals but other ferrets were a favorite friend of his. He was a social critter.

((I have one too! You are right, the strangest noises but oh so cute.))
