Nico stood up slowly, brushing a few blades of grass of of his jeans. He pulled the headphones out of his ears just in time to hear someone come over the loudspeaker, calling the campers to the Mess Hall. Letting out a soft gust of air, Nico headed to the Mess Hall. He pushed he door open, brown eyes widening in surprise at the sheer amount of teenagers that were there. "Wow," he breathed, spotting a few of the female campers. Smirking softly to himself, Nico sat down at one of the tables and looked around for someone to talk to.

More and more people arrived at the Mess Hall, so Amy decided to switch off her iPod and put it & her headphones away. She sighed. There were so many people, of course she has seen them in school before but never talked to them. Cuddles panted excitedly, smelling all the people around him. She patted him gently, than looked around. She saw a guy sitting on one of the tables. She was nervous, what if no one likes her? She shock her head and took a deep breath, then she walked to the table, sat down and said: "Hey .. ehm, I'm Amy .. I mean .. Amelie Conelly. And you are?" She bit her lip and looked down in embarrassment.

Nico looked up at the sound of a voice. His eyes landed on the girl across from him who seemed to be introducing herself. "Oh, hey." He said, with a bright grin. "I'm Nicholai Newman, but everyone calls me Nico." He chuckled softly, looking down at her dog. "That's a big dog you have there," he smirked. "What's its name?" He asked curiously, brushing the hair out of his eyes by combing through it with his fingers. He gave Amelie a once over, and his smile widened. She was cute; he had to give her that, but she seemed a bit shy. Nico shrugged softly, thinking that only made her cuter.

He waited and she wrapped her arms around him in a small hug. He chuckled when she let go. "Oh I won't. I don't take anything that has to do with you for granted. You're special." He smiled sweetly and she spoke again. Her finger prodded his stomach, he laughed. "Ahh, you sure?" He chuckled again.

Josh nodded. "I know how that feels. I wasn't forced, but my mom would've made me go, if she wasn't dead." He shrugged, not looking phased. He raised his eyebrows as the loud speaker announced everyone to meet in the meeting hall. Val and him were already there, so it didn't matter very much. He watched the door as people eventually started coming in. "I guess it's time for our first activities." he told Val.

Valerie heard about his mother,and her mouth dropped. Here she was,feeling a bit sorry for herself,and Josh's mother was dead. She felt like crap. "Oh,I'm sorry," she whispered,now self conscious. She bit her lip and watched people coming in. When she heard him change the subject,she nodded. "Yes,I think so,or they want us to do something stupid," she replied,chuckling a bit her her comment.

Josh nodded. "It took awhile, but I have a feeling it'll be worth it." He told her, shrugging slightly. He yawned, leaning against the wall. He watched quietly as the lead counselor started to speak, but hardly anyone was paying much attention now. It was going to be hard to get a lot of high schoolers to actually listen while not at school.

Valerie laughed a bit and smiled. When she felt the touch,she glanced at him and smiled. She then looked forwards at the others,trying not to blush too much. "Wow,that's awesome," she replied,referring to the rigged suitcase. Her eyes sparkled with happiness as she sighed,and looked back at him.

"I have to admit,I was glad I met you though," she whispered to herslef,hoping he didn't hear. Valerie took down her hood,and watched the other teens texting,talking,and just not caring. She couldn't help but let a chuckle escape from her mouth.

James flipped his hair out of his eyes and watched the counselor. "What the h*** is she saying?" he whispered,not hearing over the noises of the others. He shrugged and checked it texts. Nothing. Shrugging,he stuffed the phone in his pocket and tried to listen to what the person had to say. He had nothing else to do,so might as well listen.
