Jacob shrugs and laughed reluctantly. "Fine, okay. He stood and sat down near where Ashlin was. He put some cushions around him and under him, getting comfortable.

Daniel was about halfway through his popcorn after the first few minutes of movie-watching. He saw Courtney and Ashlin texting each other, but wasn't bothered by it.

Daphne put her popcorn next to her on the seat, pulling her knees to her chest. She wrapped her arms around her knees, looking at the T.V. No, she wouldn't be afraid. It's just a movie, Daphne. Just a movie. She thought to herself over and over for a few minutes.
