Tori made her way to the barn as Ruffian was being set up. Tori's hair was wavy, and she wore this outfit but with black spandex under so they wouldn't see her underwear (lol), as jockey silks were not being used during this race. She smiled, leading Ruffian out to the track as the crowd cheered for all the horses, she was Number 6. Tori smirked, everybody here was an away horse except for Foolish Pleasure, who actually had to run in this race because there was one space left. Tori attached her blue helmet, and then climbed up onto Ruffian, everybody staring at her broken leg. She could walk with the cast, but she wasn't supposed to be riding. She was riding in the Mother Goose Stakes which was being held at their school, and nobody had any idea of what they were in for.

People just gave Ruffian nasty looks, but they began to load the horses up into the gates. Number 1 is Survivor's Sorrow! The oldest horse here in the race!.. Next we have Number 2, Hot N' Nasty! Ready to show Ruffian, Number 6, who's boss! 3, Point in Time!.. Next, we have Sweet O' Girl who is Number 4! Number Number 5, we have Foolish Pleasure, the only colt in the race! And, Number 6! We have Ruffian! She looks prepared and ready to show Hot N' Nasty that she's the queen of the track!... The announcer continued to announce the horse's names as Matt and Tori waited patiently side-by-side in the gates. Ruffian and Foolish Pleasure stomped impatiently. Matt and Foolish Pleasure just came back from Belmont where Foolish Pleasure had a professional trainer and was about as good as Ruffian at this point. Foolish was full of confidence, even though Tori knew Ruffian would win this race. Ready for this, Matt? Foolish Pleasure now has plenty of training and is one of the best 3 year olds, along with Ruffian. Tori smiled and Matt grinned, agreeing.

Jc decided to watch the race, then do classes... she didnt know how the others would take her being the sub, but oh well if they didn't like it... Tori told her to do it, so she would : )

Alex was going out to the track to watch the big race at their school. Tori wasn't around.. so he didn't know where she was. Maybe at the nurse or hospital? He sighed as the walked out to watch the race. Number 6.. a black horse. A blonde girl riding her. It was Ruffian and Tori. He ran to the edge of the bleachers. "Tori! What are you doing?!"

Tori couldn't hear Alex because of the horses stomping against the gates and the crowd cheering, and Ruffian perked her ears as Alex called, but payed no mind to it. They are all in! Let's count down! 10! 9! 8..! As the announcer called down and the rest of the crowd, Tori gripped the reins tighter, adjusting her feet in the stirrups and getting into her racing stance. Matt also got into his stance and they looked ahead at the night track, the green grass of the track was just trimmed. Ruffian stomped her feet, which were wrapped in cyan wraps. Her whole racing gear was in cyan. Anticipation was all that could be felt.

Jc watched in anticipation for the gates to open... she wishes that she can do a race like this one day... she sees Alex... 'Hey' she calls, sitting down in the stands...

Alex heard JC's voice and looked at her. "Hey.." He bit his lip and turned back to Tori. "TORI!" He yelled again. It was louder this time. It even hurt his throat to yell that loud, but he had to get Tori's attention.
