The young man was standing infront of a large building, bag slung over his back and an expression of awe plastered to his face. He couldn't help but sigh as he made his way up the front steps, nerves appearing out of nowhere as he tried to imagine how he would ever fit in. Thomas' thoughts were cut short as he entered the Main House, speechless as he continued on towards where the cabins were. And then he hit the beach, and his mouth fell open. He was used to small flats in New York or California, not mansions like the Main House, which had a beach right outside. Ben, his German Shepherd stood beside him, jaws parted slightly and tongue hanging out as he panted, his nose picking up the salty sea air. "Well, boy. This is home now."

Basic Description
Lauren is average height at 5 " 4 yet she is underweight at 120lbs. This is not because she intends on being skinny, no, Lauren pretty much hates her figure, nor does she starve herself or chuck up every meal she has. It is simply because that is Lola's natural Frame. Laurens skin is a shade of creamy white colour and she has bright blue exotic eyes. They contrast with her platinum blonde hair. Her hair is naturally that colour, though she will highlight it from time to time.

Lauren has never met her real parents. Instead, she grew up on her Grandma's lavender farm, in a town just outside New York. One time, her parents requiested to see Lauren, but her Grandma said no, because she didn't feel that either of them were emotionally ready to see each other for the first time. This hasn't really ever bothered Lauren much, and she feels it has been no real loss. When Lauren was 10, she fell out of a tree. To her, that was the most frightful experience of her life. She was also bit by a house spider at the age of 14, and although being already fearful of them, Lauren then developed a serious phobia of the eight legged creatures. Nothing incredibly special or extraordinary has ever happened to Lauren, but she doesn't care. In fact, she prefers it that way.

Personality
Lauren is realiable and trustworthy. If you tell her a secret, she's gauranteed to keep it, in most cases. However, despite her sweet looks, Lauren is not all sweetness. She has a sharp tounge and always keeps it real. Brutual honesty is her way. She comes from a slightly spiteful nature, and will b*tch about you if you slag her off. Lauren is the typical mean girl cheerleader, she likes making fun of other people with a lower status than her because it makes her feel her better. She is usually unfaithful and hates relationships with strings, and prefers to just hook up. But she isn't loose. She just hates emotion and is scared of falling in love and being hurt.
Deceptive and cunning, Lauren has no trouble lying to get herself, or someone she cares for, out of touble. She will always have your back, even if she doesn't have her own. That means that she has no problem taking the blame or punishment for someone thats she loves. Lauren thinks nothing for reprecussions and has no respect for rules. At the age of 14 he was expelled from his school after he got into a fight with another male student, resulting in Erik breaking his nose. His general nature is more of a leadership tendency and likes being 'the alpha'. Due to this, he can get a little possesive of his girlfriends and doesn't really like them flirting with other guys, though he respects your space and freedom.
More or less, he's a good guy and doesn't ditch anyone, he's the kind of guy you want on your side in a fight.

The sound of barking filled the air, the two large German Shephers quickly stopped as the girl glared at him. She smirked, soon getting off the stool and opening the front door. I'll leave you two alone, I'm going for a walk. She smirked, soon pushing the two dogs out of the house, they bolted towards the flock of birds resting on the sand. She looked around for Jack, [random char I might make.] her best friend for life, basically they got along very easily. Which, surprised them both.

Her eyes were still that, brown color since she didn't have her contacts. She was hard to get, but her brother obviosuly knew her patterns. If someone was mad, she would make them even more mad, if someone was happy, and came up to annoy her. She easily

got mad, then she would storm off. After a while, her two dogs started digging in the sand, she walked up to them and saw that they were digging for a phone under the sand Good boy.. and girl. She smirked, soon taking the phone out of the sand, and sitting down, her legs spread apart, as her hands scrolled through the text messages of the phone...

Julia was born as an orphan, technically she had a family but her real parents abandoned her because like her, they had a child too young. The adoption was not open like the ones today, closed tight as a drum. She blamed herself for many reasons but what could she have done? So, Julia lived on through life wishing and hoping her parents would come for her, they never did. She grew up living in a different world wondering what the other might be, a life of crime, being homeless or just plain poor? All the negatives lives came into her head why wouldn't they? Damien had parents, what kid doesn't. He knew his father until he enlisted and went off to war, so that wasn't very long. His mother was an alcoholic and a druggie so he never really felt loved or important in his home. He thought that the whole reason she had started this was because of his father leaving, he didn't want to remember his mother like she was, he wanted to remember her beautiful face smiling and singing to him. But those memories were all but gone now, his father would come home and his mother would cheer some and stop with her drinking and drugs, then he would leave and the cycle would start all over. She would even say to his father that she would get help, mostly because he threatned divorce and to take Damien away. They were always emty threats, She never gor help and Damioens father never kept his word. So it wasn't a shock when his dad was killed in combat that his mother would go insane and start abusuing him. Saying it was his fault they were all alone, saying he was worthless and should never had been born. Damien was shut up in his room for months after that, thin, weak and sick. Until his mother let him out to clean the house while she past out in the bedroom. Damien was ten, he went outide looking ragged and like he had risen from
the grave when a neighbor found him and practically had a heart attack from seeing him. She took him inside and fed him before calling Child Services to take him. That neighbor always reminded him of what his mother had been and what she should have stayed if his father hadn't left. Months later Damien was being bounced between foster homes and still trying to manage school when he met Holly. A girl who took his breath away and let him express himself to her, they dated, fell in love and slept together. It all came swinging back to slap him when she left without a note, a goodbye, a kiss. Nothing. He again was once thrown away like trash, Damien could never trust again and he definetley won't find love for a very long time.

Damien is a character, he's funny charming, smart. Everything a girl would want in a guy, except there's only one thing that makes them run. He's a dad. Well atleast he thinks he is, his last girlfriends suddenly flew out on him after they slept together, something he was new at which is surprsing to some because of his looks. He could only come up with one explanation. She was knocked up. Frankly he didn't care, which gave him the personality trait of mysterious and hard to figure out. He did in fact care because he wanted to support her with the baby but for all he knew, she had aborted it. Damien had almost dropped out of school when this happned, he was smart but his girlfriend had always been on his mind so he failed. Junior year was here and he was still taking softmoor classes, she should see how much he had given up for her.
