Stella looked down, embaressed and blushed. "Hi Ellis..." She said awkwardly. "Uhh... Can you help me?" She continued walking. "I dropped my shoe!" She called out to Ellis.

Ellis waved,
"I'm not going in there," she said, "You're on your own." she sat on the bank and watched Stella, amused.
Ellis looked at Stella and thought about her ex boyfriend,
"Hmm," she mumbled, "Boys are cuter." she chuckled to herself, "But whatever."

Stella reached the pond. So did the jandal. The pond looked to be 7 feet. "Ohh nuts!" Worried Stella. After a moment of thinking and idea came to mind. "What if I get a stick!" She beamed. "Ellis! Can you please help me get a sick, or a branch or something!" She called.

Ellis looked at her,
"Nah," she shook her head, "Sorry." she laughed,
"Can't you swim?" Ellis looked at her, If she can't swim," she chuckled at the thought. She watched Stella,
This is what you get for being so damn cute, I like boys, thank you very much.

'Awh.' Stella though as she looked around for something. Nothing, no branch. "Guess I'm going to have to dive in!" She whispered to herself. She took off her layered singlets, and her one shoe and dived in. Looking around Stella saw the shoe, diving a bit deeper to get it, she finally came up for air, when she got it. Stella threw the shoe at her clothes, an swam to the edge.

"Hey!" Yelled Ellis as she dodged the flying, wet shoe,
"Don't hit me." Ellis scoffed and got up,
"Right," she paused, "I'm leaving," she looked at Stella, "You need a lift home?" she asked and smiled.

"Please." Said Stella simply.
She quickly grabbed her clothes, and ran to Ellis. "Actually hold on, could I go to your place to shower? My mum would kill me if she saw me in my clothes, wet, again..."

Ellis nodded,
"I don't have hot water," she said as she jumped onto her bike and waited for Stella to get onto the back,
"Though," she paused, "Nah."

"You don't have... Hot water?" Stella asked, confused. "I don't mind... I just need to get rid of the smell of pond water..."

Ellis nodded,
"I use my own money," she said, "And i thought, since it was Summer, I wouldn't need it anyway." She shrugged and turned the corner onto a dirt road,
"Riiiiiiiiiight," she said, drawing out the 'i' sound, "Here!" she turned into her driveway and jumped off her bike.
