"She has to be," I repeated softly. "What would we do without her?" I didn't even want to think about it.

I kissed her tiny hands and smiled. Then, I cried, "Tickle monster!" and tickled her stomach.

Bridget laughed with delight as she was tickled.

:Aly:

I woke with a start, my eyes flying wide open. There was a searing pain in, well, everywhere. I hurt so badly and I didn't know what to do. I whimpered softly.

:Grant:

Just then, the nurse came over with a sad smile on her face. "You can see her, but she may be a little disoriented."

:Seth:

I laughed as well, then looked to Karen.

I jumped up quickly and walked over to Aly. I smoothed her hair down. "How are you doing?"

I grinned at the two. Bridget really liked Seth.

Josh's face was above mine now as I smiled wryly, relieved to see him. "I'm fine."

:Seth:

I smiled at her weakly. "Good."

I stood and walked over to them, sitting down in the hay.
