Piper came up next to the steps leading to the slides. Picking up Killian she set him on the top step, moving over to one of the smaller slides, ready to catch the blonde boy once he came to the bottom. "Come on, Lian." She coaxed him, seeing that he was shy about going down the slide."I'll won't let you fall." She said now in quiet motherly tone, kneeling down at the bottom of the slide with arms outstretched.

The toddler furrowed his brows in worry, but nonetheless sat down and scooted slowly until he was at the curve of the slide and just went with the flow, barreling into outstretched arms, burying himself into his mother's welcoming embrace. Giggling in the utmost delight. "Again." He squealed between giggles, only to have them end abruptly to see someone approaching. "Mommy." He said before becoming shy and hiding his face into his mother's shoulder and hair.

Piper gave a bright smile, hearing her son's giggle and squeals of delight. "See?" She whispered, but it wasn't long until she realized he was now curling up and hiding. Turning she came face to face with Derek. Blinking she gave a welcoming smile. "Hey." She responded.

Derek smiled in return. He looked at the friendly blue eyes that had responded. She's beautiful.... He flashed his brown eyes down to the blonde boy hiding behind her. He looked about two or three years old. He again glanced around for a father. It was obvious that this little boy was her's. They had the same clear blue eyes. He looked back to her. "Hey,I'm Derek.Who's this?" He said,squatting down to be eye level with Killian. He smiled. "Hey,Buddy."

Jojo And Darla
Jojo woke up to the lite tickle of Darla's hands.
She waited she was going to spook her young, beautiful child.
She slowly rolled over under her blanket. and when she peered through
the small hole, and saw her childs pajamas, she jumped out of the covers, and said,
"Ooga Booga!" she say Darla step back, but then let out a simple giggle.
Come on child, lets get you dressd.Jojo said taking the sweet 4 year old's
arm.

Darla followed her mother. she simply walked down
the hall wondering, Ooo, what am i gunna wear today? They reached the
bedroom and went to her dresser. her mother pulled out a cute outfit
and darla slipped it on.

I hate this town,its awful. I haven't even met anyone yet. She thought bitterly. I was then that she saw on the oppisite side of the street, was Damien.

Piper blinked, looking around to try and figure out what he was looking for, with a inward shrug she turned back towards him in time to hear his name. "I'm Piper, it's nice to meet you." She said with warming smile, fastening her blue eyes onto his brown ones. Looking down at Killian once Derek leaned down to make eye contact. Kissing the boy's head gently, moving a few of his blonde strands out of his face.

Killian gave a soft whine while turning his head away so he wouldn't have to make any contact with the man his mother was talking to. His grip on his mom tightening, his face burying into her shirt, tilting his head to allow her fingers to push his hair out of his face.

"This is Killian, and Killian is shy." Piper explained, rocking the boy slightly in her arm's to quiet him down.

Derek smiled. "Thats a unique name. Its nice too meet you too." His attention directed onto Killian. He pulled out a choclate chip cookie he had gotten at the coffee shop. It was wrapped p in a coffee bag with a coral blue twisty-tie. He held it out to the little boy,hoping to appeal to him. "Hi,Killian." He smiled,friendly.

I was never one to patiently pick up broken fragments and glue them together again and tell myself that the mended whole was as good as new. What is broken is broken -- and I'd rather remember it as it was at its best than mend it and see the broken places as long as I lived.

"Julianna Rose?" A tan dark haired girl lifted her head from the gossip magazine she was reading and let her chocolate brown eyes rest on a stocky old woman standing in the door way of the waiting room. "Yes?" she asked, her voice coming out like music, low and sweet while the old woman's cracked and rasped "Doctor Shepards ready for you now." Julia didn't smile only nodded as she slowly stood and held a hand to her stomach. Her unsightly bulging stomach. Only five months in and Julia was as big as a beach ball, it was getting hard for her to walk and she weighed three times her normal size. The girl rabbed her black purse, not exactly designer but cute all the same- and walked after the woman to the room. In the past week, Julia had gone to several appointments to check up on her baby to see how it was progressing. Today she finally got to know the sex and finish up shopping for the young one. Julia had recently gotton a job at a local mall and the income was good for now, she still needed to finish painting and a friend Julia hadn't seen in years was coming to help. They had spoken on the phone many times but after Julia transferred to a homeschool type scenery she hadn't made many friends or seen any of her old ones. Alot of them when they called asked if she had heard from John, her ex boyfriend, father of the baby. She had refrained from breaking out in a sob and said "Nope, and I don't plan to." Julia still wasn't over the sudden breakup and didn't like the idea of being a single mom but she was strong and was going to do it. The girl walked into the bleached white room where the doctor was waiting, he smiled when he swiveled in his chair toward her "Morning Julia, ready to see you baby?" Julia managed a small smile back "Ready as I'll ever be."

Jojo smiled and went downstairs with darla.
What do you want for breakfast? she asked
Darla. She waited just for no responce. Darla just shrugged.
Big help. she said with a grin. What about, we go out today.
She asked. She saw the young girl clap, and she giggled.
Jojo smiled and went with darla outside. Before,
Jojo grabbed her phone and her keys. They got in the car and drove to the
nearest ihop.

Darla looked aout the window. Yes! ihop!
she said with a grin.Her momma pulled up and got
Darla out of the car. they walked inside and asked for a booth.
They waited for a bit, then sat down. they both ordered
the value meal and waited to be served.

Kory found himself at an ihop texting friends.
he got up to go to the bathroom when he spot Jojo
and Darla. he walked over to the booth in awe.
D-Darla? he said. He then looked at Jojo.
She was in a happy mood, and she didnt want to make her darla sad.
all Jojo did was sit there and act polite, but she couldnt help but show
the slightest fear.H-hi.. Um, Jojo.. Please. He longed to atleast
eat one meal, with his preacous baby girl. he looked at Jojo with pleading eyes,
