"Ah, it seems you have leukemia and a slight case of amnesia." She gave a light smile.

"Why are you smiling? That's awful!" she sank back. "I can't believe this. Cancer!" She looked around. "Why has only that boy come? Why aren't any of my friends or family here?"

"There all in New York, we tried to call them but there was no answer." She looked down.

"Oh." Sapphire looked down. "Why is my family in New York?"

"They live there"

"They do?" Sapphire was puzzled. "Then why can't you contact them? Surely they have a phone or e-mail."

[stormi.]

"We're not sure, but we are trying."

[madscientist123]

"Oh. Well, I won't be much help" she said sadly. 'I wonder where they could possibly be?' she wondered.

(Did they, like, die in a car crash or something?)
