Christian was at his locker, his head inside it as he searched for his only pencil. He backed away a bit, closing it. He mumbled something under his breath, his brilliant grey eyes searching the halls for his sister.

Emily was walking down the hall, her arms wrapped around her mint-green binder. Behind it was a novel she'd start reading, named Shiver. She hugged them tighter as she walked around the corner, her thin, big lips curved into a slight smile.

Ace nodded slowly "Yeah me too" she said as she waited for the elevator to stop. Once she heard the tall-tail 'Ding' of the elevator stopping and the door opening she quickly made her way out of it beside Shelby.
