waking up with the sun creeping through the light, color-faded curtains that blowed in the slight breeze from the cracked window in her room, krysten stretched her arms out and sat up slowly with a yawn, dropping her feet off the edge of the bed and onto the wooded floor. her room was still the same as it was when she moved in; looking bum and old, but she was never home, so she never cared on how it looked... she never had guests that walked into her room, either. standing up, she gripped at the end of her long, loose and raggedy shirt, she flipped it over her head and threw it across the floor. opening her closet she threw out one of her favorite black laced corsets and wrapped it tightly around her body.
sitting on her wooden chair, she slipped on her black leggings and applied the finishing touch to the dress, her black high heels and brushed her long blond hair over her shoulder. making her bed, sliding the curtains to open the window, walking out to the kitchen where her aunt and uncle were still sleeping, she grabbed an apple and made it outside. striding out to the side of the house where a large, green paddock was shown she whistled loudly. in a matter of seconds, a trotting stallion had made his way into her view and towards the gate of the fence. slipping on the reins onto the stubborn horse and tying it's saddle onto his back, she climbed onto his back and galloped her way into the town.
--
opening a stable door, zachary kept his hand out to give one of the horses a friendly pat on the side and refilled the mare's food and water bins. walking out of the stables was just another day to him. brushing his hands together, he sneezed as dust flew off his gloves. slipping them off and throwing them onto the dinner table as he walked home, he noticed his father hunched over the newspaper on the couch with his giant glasses perched at the bridge of his nose.
"Morning, Dad," zachary started off the conversation, as usual, "I'm going to town quick to buy some food and nail for the fences... do you want anything?" he asked with a half-smile on his face, his gray eyes bright with the sun's reflection. his father didn't answer, his dull and aged blue eyes reading the black-and-white paper. zachary sighed, "okay then... I'll be back in a couple of hours." he waved and hitched onto his massive stallion's back. kicking the edge of charlie's side with the spur on his boot, the stallion's brown eyes widened and snorted, turning his head and the duo began to make their way towards town.

Yellow Eyes walked barefoot along a small, crystal-clear stream, her piercing eyes focused on the small plant-life she walked among. She sighed deeply as she gently crouched down besides the stream, her hand slicing through the cold water as she ran her fingers up the stream. Her lips curved slowly at the ends, forming a smile she rarely smiled. She got back up and wiped her wet hands on her blazing white dress, her eyes slowly scanning the area around her. Far off in the distance she could hear the whines of horses, memories of how she had once been captured by White Men long ago flooded her mind. She pushed the thoughts aside as she watched her friend wolf pad closer to her, her hand gingerly brushed the side of the wolf's head.
"Ooh Little Rock.." She mumbled to the wolf, petting its head.
"Where have you been?" She asked the wolf, smiling. She brought her hand down from the wolf, then felt its furry snout dig into her palm. She chuckled lightly and picked her hand up, seeing the wolf look at her. She pet it once more, then looked up and into the horizon. She thought about the town of the Alphine Creek, and how it was crawling with cruel, heartless White Men. She huffed air and mumbled something under her breath, then slowly broke into a small walk as she continued her walk along the stream.

I miss the feel of it
Your touch, your kiss weighs heavy on my mind
Our moment forever sealed in time
Our secret as much yours as is mine
All logic we have surely left defied
I will hold you till I die

"I don't serve women at the bar," Emmett stated when he spotted Sam, a rancher's daughter, entering his saloon. To busy himself, he picked up a glass and began cleaning it with a piece of white cloth. When the girl sat down anyway, Emmett frowned and strode over the the girl. "Look, miss, it's men only, alright?" He almost sneered the word miss, feeling the need to accentuate his disgust at having a woman in his bar. When he heard the girl's request for directions, he scoffed. "Just don't go north-west," He wittily replied and went to attending a male customer.

--

Kaya's hair flew out behind her as she and Hotohke became one with the wind. It felt like nothing could stop her now. Her spirit felt free. Nothing's better than this. The red roan mare whinnied beneath her, as if echoing Kaya's thoughts. The two raced down the mountainside, Hotohke's hooves barely touching the ground. Unfortunately for the pair of Kaya and Hotohke, the spirits had a different plan in mind and that plan was to nearly kill horse and rider. At least, that's how the intent following event seemed to appear.

As the Kaya and her mare neared the reservation, so too did they become nearer to a white man's ranch which so happened to be on the way. Kaya didn't notice the rancher was leaving his property as well and it was soon discovered how quickly a panicked mare could halt. Hotohke sat back on her haunches, stopping just before bumping the other horse's side. Both Kaya and Hotohke sucked in a breath, and stared at the creatures with which they were now perpendicular. Kaya's eyes made contact with the white man's, her heart beating nervously. In essence, she feared him.

"Sorry," She choked out in English, then turned Hotohke and urged the horse in Cheyenne. She suddenly wanted to be at the reservation with a passion like none she had ever felt before. The only feeling that was equal to her longing for the camp, was the relief she felt with not falling off of Hotohke's bare back.

The dappled stallion strides his way into town with much courage and confidence, swaying his head to the side so his mane would flow in the breeze. "Miccosuke," krysten warned the stubborn horse and he listened, getting into place with his head bowed.
Mounted on top of the tall horse, krysten rarely ever had to look to the floor because she faced adults and tall children—not today. A loud and squeaky cry had echoed in the air for a sit second. Gripping onto the reins tightly, she felt her stomach knot when Miccosuke had stood up on his hind hooves, his front kicking wildly at the air. Narrowed blue eyes took a shot glance at the floor and spotted a baby underneath the rearing stallion.
Pulling him to the side roughly, the stallion shook his head to the other side, whining and snorting at the crying baby. In the Saloon, a tall middle-aged man dropped his drink on the table and stormed outside at the baby's cry. His big brown eyes widened at the scene as he rushed towards the duo and scooped the baby into his arms.
"What is your problem?!" he began to lecture her in anger. "I will call the cops on you!"
"I have no problem... Although your child might," she snapped. "what kind of father leaves his baby outside by itself?! And what kind of baby has the common sense to run straight to a horse's feet?!" she snapped, both beginning to argue outside the saloon.

--
The walk to town from zachary's ranch was a couple of miles away. Nothing excited ever happened on the way rhere. The best he'd get was a quick fight in the air from a couple of hawks and see wolves race across the revseration. He sighed, just a couple more feet and the second mile would be covered when suddenly he heard
the thud of a horse galloping close. Turning his head to look, a horse was right in front of him. Charlie twitched his ears and quickly stepped away from the mare to face them.
Whining in the mare's face, Charlie stomped at the ground, baring teeth for a couple of times and then snorting, Zachary had managed to relax the giant stallion.
"It's... okay.." he managed to get out of his mouth from the little shock. He'd never seen one of the natives in front of him like this before. "Are you alright?" he had so many questions but he didn't want to drown the poor girl in them. Charlie turned his head slightly to a glance at Zachary with a look but turned to face the native's mare, his brown eyes fixed onto her slightly narrowed.

Sam moaned at the boy and put her feet onto the bar table top-"Just because I'm a women doesn't mean you have to treat me like one."-She said with a smirk as she looked down at her shorts and boots-"Now, here is what your going to do. Get me a drink or I may loose it."-She said gritting her teeth trying to sound as tough as she could-"Thank you."-She smiled getting up and walking around-"So, Why can't I be in here in the first place? I can drink. I should have as many rights as a man does."-She said stubbornly waiting on his answer- She was the type to not go down with out a fight-"Now sir I can stay here all day and night if I have to."-She smiled at the boy- She thought he was cute but she was to busy for a man- She wanted a family when she got older but thought she was to tom boyish-"I'm no can-can dancer so you can't sweet talk me out of here. Got it?"-She said with a straight face- She heard her horse outside then a couple gun shots-"There here."-She whispered runnning out the doors and grabbing her horse by the reins-"Come on girl."-She whispered as she ran it to the back and into the back of the saloon without the boy knowing-"Stay here Bailey. I don't want to loose you."-She whispered patting the horse and running back into the saloon-

The woman's arguments fell on deaf ears. Emmett didn't care how angry the girl got, he wasn't about to be told how to run his saloon. He also wasn't going to allow his customers to be disturbed by the ruckus going on outside. Placing all bottles of alcohol beneath the counter, Emmett sighed irritably and strode outside to see what was going on. Unfortunately, he recognized one of the arguers. One was a loyal customer: Hank. The other was a woman Emmett had only seen in the town once or twice.

"Hank, what are you doin'?" Emmett inquired, remaining as calm as possible. Even though he wouldn't serve a woman a drink, he couldn't condone yelling senselessly at them. "Why are you leaving your child outside?" He asked a bit more forcefully whilst stepping between the two quarreling people, facing Hank.

--

"Woah, Hotohke. Easy, girl." Kaya soothed the roan mare. After the duo had galloped away from the man and stallion, Kaya had halted the mare so both could catch their breath. The young woman leaned over the mare's neck, stroking her. As she stroked the mare, she realized that her hands were still shaking. Taking a deep breath, Kaya began to calm her nerves, praying to the spirits. She prayed that her actions didn't cause the man to be angry.

<We can only hope,> Kaya whispered in Cheyenne, her native tongue. <Let's go home.> She turned the roan mare in the correct direction and urged the mare into an easy walk. The young native wanted plenty of time to think before she had to face her father's scolding.

(So, from now on, whenever the natives speak in Cheyenne, I'm going to put it in these: < > with italics on the inside.)

Sam watched as Emmet left to go get himself in the middle of the argument-She sighed as she went behind the counter and got out a bottle of whiskey-"Won't get it for me. I'll get it myself."-She said grabbing a glass and pouring it in-She gulped down the full thing and with a sigh she walked to the back room to get her horse-"Easy, girl."-She said putting her boot in the loop and throwing her self onto the horse- She grabbed the reins and slid it up the horses main-"Go."-She whispered as the horse galloped out of the back and trotted toward the ranch-"We are going to take a detour girl."-She said thrusting the reins right- She had no idea that she was now on the Cherokee land-She panicked when she began to see the teepees-"Oh no."-She said when she came across Kaya-"Please let me threw.-She said crossly to the Indian- She tried to pass but felt threatened by the Indian- Sammie finally passed her and galloped as fasted as the horse could go- About an hour later she finally caught sight of the family ranch-"Hey dad."-She called as she stopped at her dads horse-"Wheres mom?"-She asked-"Shes in the house sweetie."-Her dad said gesturing toward the house-"I'll come with."-Her dad said following her-"Thanks."-Sam said trotting on her horse-"Hey dad. Have you met Emmett?"-She asked looking at him-"The saloon owner? Why do you ask.Wait you like him don't you?"-He asked with a laugh-"Yeah a little. But, I'm to busy for a man dad."-She said taking her horse into the farm house and putting her into the stall- "Stay girl."-She said closing the door and walking towards the house- She opened up the screen door and closed it with a low moaned thud-"Hey momma."-She said sitting at the table- A water and a plate of country food sat-"You and daddy gonna eat?"-She asked picking Maddie up and sitting her on her lap-"Hey sweets. How you doing?"-She asked with a smile-"Nothing."-Maddie asked with a giggle- Sam looked out into the sunset filled room and starred at the red and yellow sun-

Username: *Nightmare*
Name: Skylar
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Race: Caucasian
Appearance: ^
Occupation: Saloon Gal
Personality: Skylar is an all out rebel. She challenges the laws of gravity; looks death in the eye constantly. She's always performing daring stunts and exploring. She is very adventurous and not shy at all to barge into someone's conversation and make a random statement. She is very stealthy when it comes to patrolling and she makes herself be as sly as a fox; as quick as a gust of wind. She is very strategic with sneaking along hard-to-maneuver paths, making her one of the most clever. She can be serious, but she's usually outgoing and proud to be a rebel. Sky's almost always taking the hard way of doing things when the easy parts are right in front of her eyes. She has a problem with sticking up for others. She is definitely a unique individual, that's for sure. One moment she can be serious, the next running around wildly and screaming random phrases. She does happen to have a sweet, caring side that hardly ever shows. Most of the time her wild, outgoing side is belted to her with pure joy and happiness.
Alliance: Neither, she wants peace between everyone.
Pets/Animal Partners: Her horse Trigger
