Dallas laughed and dropped the end of the cover that he held. He got down on his knees and leaned over her so his face was lined with hers, but he was facing her upside down. "Are too!" He chuckled.

Alex stared at the dog before blinking and returning his gaze to Jackie. He nodded and rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, you could say that." He muttered before changing the subject, "So how's life going for you in this town of Ventura?" He asked.

Jackie shurgged and glance d to her passed out compainon that was still panting, overloaded. "Well, I've got my hands full with this one. She's such a whacko." She teasded her dog and she looked to him with slightly squinted eyes. "What have you been up to?"

Alex shrugged, letting his hand fall down to his side from his neck. "Sleeping and working." He replied, glancing at her, "It's simple enough to call it a boring life." He added with a forced chuckle as he shook his head with a light smirk. His gaze trailing back down to the ground.

Jackie's brows knit together slight not really finding his dry humor funny. That was odd and she had her lips in a glimpsed froqn before she curved her lips into an unsure grin and she watched his actions. glancing at ehr dog seeing she was still imobile, for now. Walking ove Alex she paused standing directly infront of him and she titled her head at him but not physically too close. Her hair drapping sideways and oblongdly. "You okay?" She asked her eyes studying him.

Alex saw a pair of feet come into his line of vision. His eyes slowly trailed upward to meet hers. His eyes widened before he blinked and gave her a sheepish grin. "Yes. Of course." He answered with a slight nod. He studied her gaze before running a hand trough his hair with a soft sigh. The sigh particularly not having any meaning to it.

Jackie's face spread a grin at him and she snickered lightly. She then straighted her face seriously before she squinted one eyes more then the other and studied him critically to tease him before she looked him up and down quickly to add affect to her critical look. She then nodded and ghrinned, releasing her facial expressoin. "Mmmmkai." She turned around onher heel and grinned as she said this. "Had breakfast?" She said and picked up her pooped pup and her paws hung over her her forearma dn she licekd at her and she smiled with a gigled before she walked back towards him.

Alex watched her study him with a critical look on her face. He arched a eyebrow at her then shook his head when she turned around. He raised his gaze back up to her face as she turned back around. Shaking his head, "No. Remember, I just got up?" Alex asked with a small lopsided smile as he teased her.

Jackie grinned at him, knowingly he hadn;t had breakfast just having the curtisy to ask. "I know but, do you know where you want to go and have breakfast?" She said with a slight tilt to her head and rubbed the smooth head of Sage who butted her nose upwards and sneezed and cause Jackie's eyes to blinked quickly and she glanced down at Sage with a sarcastic comment. "Thanks" She looked up to Alex and waited his responce.
