"Just please... I just don't want you to see my aunt." She said softly, stopping and looking at him.

Aiden cracked a smile then laughed. "She can't be that bad. C'mon!" He said, taking her by the wrist and leading her the rest of the block to her house, stopping when he got there and letting go of her.

She let him drag her, "No. Please, just, I'm fine outside." She said, looking at him sternly a she sat down on the sidewalk.

Aiden looked down at her. "What is so bad about your aunt?" He asked, crossing his arms over his chest. He was determined to meet her aunt whether she liked it or not.

"She's a f***ing alcoholic drug addict!" She yelled before standing off and beginning to walk across the street, on the verge of tears. She didn't want him to see her cry.

Aiden stood there. He blinked and watched her for a moment. Her aunt wasn't much different than his dad used to be, until he changed his life around. Maybe.. Her aunt could too, with the right kind of help? Aiden dismissed the thought and ran to catch up with Kat. He grabbed her by the hand and stopped her, turning her around to face him. "I won't meet her then if I come back tonight?" He said, studying her.

"Nope, she'll be out... She works at the strip club." She muttered, looking up at him with soft blue eyes.

Aiden couldn't help but crack a smile at her aunts job. Typical teenage boy.. "Seriously?" He chuckled and let go of Kats hand. "I'll see you tonight." He said with a boyish smile as he started to walk off, his hands shoved into his pant's pockets.

Kat laugh at his boyishness and shook her head playfully before giving him a small wave, "Bye!" She said happily before walking bak across her street and onto her porch, deciding she would stay there for a few hours until her aun left to start her 'early bird special.'

Aiden walked back home. He saw his dad was home and hesitated to keep going. He sighed and hung his head as he walked the rest of the way. He raised his head as he walked up to the porch. His dad opened the door and embraced him in a hug, saying that he was worried. Aiden smile slightly before going inside and serrendering to his room until he thought it was safe to go back over to Kats. He laid on his bed, his hands clasped on his chest as he stared up at the ceiling before he fell into a light realm of sleep.
