Liz sighed and sat on the bench as the rain started to come down hard. She yanked out her phone. No reply. She shook her head and took out her pink Gumy earbuds, plugging them into her phone and turning on her favorite song, which was Don't Turn Out The Lights - NKOBSB. She listened as the sound traveled through the buds into her ears and she looked around with a slight tear, she felt really bad now. All of her thoughts got to her as a tear smacked the screen of her iPhone. I'll be whatever you need and more.. She sung along with the song, tapping the volume up to a higher level, up to 25. She closed her eyes and sighed, reopening them slowly as she looked around, still listening to the song. She tapped her right foot in a puddle, her black converse getting drops of water on the rubber sole. She wanted to text back, but now it was useless to her. Don't turn out the lights now.. Don't turn out the lights now.. Ugh. I can't just sit here and hope music will take my problems away. I just caused unnecessary drama. She said to herself as she listened to her music, her own voice inaudible to herself. Another tear smeared on Liz's phone's screen as the song dragged on, because it was stuck on replay.
