..- The smirking fox appears with dull, deadly colors
Make way, for the cunning king -..
The room was still silent, no one speaking, and actually, he couldn't tell if they were breathing. "I'm gonna poke my head outside for a bit to get some fresh air, just hollar through a window when we're leaving." Sever murmured, lifting his feet from the ground in quick, smooth strides until he'd made it to the door. His fingers ran over the knob for a moment; his nails clinking quietly when they tapped over it, and overall, the noise was calming. So he opened the door and started to walk outside, the blaring sun horror to his eyes. In return to the savage gaze of the sun, Sever sheilded his eyes while he adjusted, but soon, he could actually get somewhere. The sun, now dulling in color as his pupils dilated, felt warm and inviting...way different from the moon's creamy glance. A change for once, in his routine to stay in the dark, now, to take a look outside.
He could see why the Day Trotters loved it, but still, they were soft in his mind. Sever dismissed his hand away from covering his eyes, while the sun's gaze beat vigorously down on him. 'It might get annoying to have to stare at this everyday, twenty-four-seven, though.' He mentally concluded, skimming the streets and their many inhabitants. 'Maybe I could get a run-in with a Trotter, that would be more interesting than just standing here.' Slowly and carefully, Sever started to walk once more, eyes following every person in a quick, studying glance. None of them seemed to be gang material, seeing as the Trotters always had some way of expressing themselves, so maybe he was just looking in the wrong place.
