Your parents slam on the brakes, and you open the door and jump out. "Wait!" Your mom calls out, but you ignore it. Seeing a bunch of people crowded around something that's apparently interesting, you run over and push your way into the crowd. Laying in front of you is a beached Killer Whale.
"Oh, thank God. More people to help." A random stranger tells you.
If you're old enough to drive:
You slam on the brakes and run out to see what's going on. You see a bunch of people surrounding something on the sand. Running over to them, you see a beached Killer Whale. "Oh my gosh, is there anything I can do to help?" You ask.

Basically, this is a dolphin/whale rescue and rehabilitation RP. I had it start with this action so that it wouldn't start off all boring...the Killer Whale is played by tornadofan2, but there will be many, many more dolphin rescues to come. If you come up with the situation and dolphin, feel free to claim it as your own. Whales are included in this, so feel free to think up a situation where a whale needs to be rescued, and carry it out
Rules:
1. All of Tess's rules apply
2. No Godmodding or Powerplaying.
3. No Mary-sues/Gary-stues. I know it's a roleplay, but people, a dolphin isn't going to instantly fall in love with your character. They're wild animals, and your person is going to have to work to create the trust with the dolphin.
5. Don't crush on your own charrie, please. I encourage romance, but crushing on your own character gets really boring.
6. Keep romance PG-13, please. I don't even want 'fades to black' - this RP was not created for that purpose. Just please avoid that kind of thing altogether
don't avoid romance, of course, but I mean...nothing too serious. 7. Don't do three pages with just kissing. I once was looking over a rp that went something like:
Girl leaned in and kissed Boy
Boy kissed back
Girl continued to kiss Boy
Boy put his arms around Girl
Girl closed her eyes and kissed Boy harder
Boy continued his kiss
Girl didn't ever want this kiss to end
And my gosh, it NEVER ended. So I mean, please, if your charries are gonna kiss, just do it for a post or two xD it makes the whole situation less awkward
8. DRAMA IS ENCOURAGED. If you come up with a small plot/rescue thing,
Ex. Walking along the beach, Person happened to see a grey blob on the sand. Upon closer inspection, he/she saw it was a stranded dolphin. "Oh, no! Come here, we've gotta help it!"
Is ok, and encouraged. But a big plan, like some disease that spreads through the rescue and kills off every other dolphin, or an earthquake, I'd like to have it PM'd to me. I might have my own plan
9. PLEASE use good grammar. This isn't a Lit or Semi-Lit RP, but one of my pet peeves is seeing people say "there dolphin" instead of "their dolphin" and stuff like that. I WILL quote and correct you. Don't be offended, it's just what I do
10. I will allow anime pictures, but please, no crazy blue hair or gravity-defying hairstyles, and stuff like that. I just know how hard it is sometimes to find the perfect picture of a realistic person online, and that anime often has better pics. I encourage realistic, however.
11. And last but not least, no cussing, unless it's starred out. Things like "dang" and "crap" are okay, but if it's something you wouldn't say near a little kid you're babysitting, please star it out.

If you choose to make a dolphin, you may do it from their perspective, but don't over-humanize them.
Oh, and before anyone says so, NO, I did not get this idea from Solar Marine Park and Mammal Rescue. Firstly, their RP died. Secondly, I'm really into dolphins right now, and didn't see any other dolphin rescue RPs.
