Shane giggled, closing his eyes and opening them. "Dark, dark, dark, dark," He smiled like a child, oblivious to the shooting pain through his head and body.

Reed sighed, still holding Shane's hands. It was horrible, seeing him like this. Yes, he was alive, but at what cost? The nurse caught his eye and gestured for him to come over, but Reed shook his head and shot her a look that clearly said, If it's that important, you can come here. The woman walked over to him and crouched, to whisper in his ear, "He's lucky to be alive. He's one of the only survivors. There's a chance he'll regain his sight."

Shane yawned sleepily, stretching his arms. He immediately brought them down, rubbing them in pain. "Owww..." He half giggled, smiling at Reed. Well, Reed's direction. "I wanna go hooooome," He whined, shaking his head.

"I wish you could, hon, but you just lived through a plane crash that killed fifty-four people. You have to stay at the hospital, at least for a while. Until you get your sight back." Reed murmured sadly, as he gripped Shane's hands again.

"But I wanna goooo! Reeeeeeeeed!" He whined and kicked his feet, yawning again. The nurse pulled Reed away from the sleepy Shane, and whispered to him softly, "He can go home tomorrow, actually, but his sight may never return. He just needs a night of rest here to help his head trauma. We'll send him along with some painkillers tomorrow as well,"

((... You do realize that in an actual situation like this, if they had any reason whatsoever to believe he suffered any sort of injury to the nervous system, they would keep him for observation? Yeah, I'm guessing you do. We need Shane home.))

Rees looked at the nurse and gave her a very sad smile, "Then we can only hope." he murmured, then moved to sit in the chair beside Shane's bed. "Do you want me to stay?"

((Precisely.))

Shane had his head tilted up to the ceiling, "Hi Reed!" He giggled, sticking his tongue out in the direction in which he heard Reed's voice. "You'll be here when I wake up, right?" He whimpered, half yawning.

((BLAINE JUST GOD STABBED! O: ADAM, YOU SICK SON OF A .....!))

"Of course I will. Don't worry. Just go to sleep. I'll be here when you wake up, and I'm sure Blaine and Kurt will be too." Reed said quietly, hands clutching Shane's tightly. Tears slid down his cheeks, This is all my fault. There's no way to fix this. When I'm here, it kills him, and when I'm gone, he tried to kill himself. Reed gently dropped Shane's hands and pressed his palms to his eyes with a soft groan. When did his life get so dramatic?

Shane closed his heavy eyelids, a pained smile on his face. He let out muffled groans of pain in his sleep. His thoughts swirled with Reed's face, but they slowly faded into darkness, as his vision had.

AND WHY WOULD YOU POST THAT LINK TO UPTOWN GIRL?!? I actually metaphorically DIED!!! You should have seen me, I was just screaming the whole time, and my brothers friend was over, and shes sitting on the couch behind me and I just get up and flail and scream and spazz like a total freaking insane person and I think I actually cried a little bit and the squeals and the whole time my freinds on the phone with me just confused and Uptown Girl is blasting through the house and I finally wore myself out and I sat in the bathtub for about 5 minutes just shaking and giggling and I dont even know what happened and I scared the crap outta myself thinking back on it now and thank you all for doing this to me. I didnt expect to react like this but it was all too much, with the song release for Daltons Disney Prom, and the Leak and some personal news as well, both very good and horribly bad and all my emotions were just so fu-dged up and I just lost it at that song and my Warblers and Curt and Grant and I cant use proper punctuation which really upsets me and OMG this is what happens when you bottle everything up for a long time. Ive officialy gone insane. *headdesk* Sorry, I had to rant to someone. And all being said: That was a complete understatement to what happened. Kay, Im going to bed. Sorry. Just, yeah sorry. >_> ))
