WHEEEOOOOOWEEEEOOOO. The ambulance rushed to the hospital at an insane speed, the boy inside fading quickly. (Yeah blind is much better now that I think about it) The large shard of shrapnel had to be removed from his head quickly, or else his brain would quickly cease to function. The paramedics pushed the gurney inside the hospital, rushing to the emergency operating room. "What's his status?" asked the doctor, prepping himself for the surgery. "Irregular heartbeat, several fractured and broken limbs, and the shrapnel has most likely impared his vision, as it cuts just above his eyebrow line. The metal has been assumed to has cut the retnal cords, and the explosion has probably detered his hearing as well. Unidentified. The shrapnel has to go first." the paramedic breathed, stopping the gurney in the surgery room, next to an anesthetic tank. Although the boy was unconcious, the possibility of him awaking during the procedure was too great to risk. The doctors closed the doors and began to remove the large shard of metal from the boy's skull.
