((ooooh yeah....That was 2 weeks.))
Shane gazed out the window as the plane picked up speed, eyes lost and expressionless. A single tear ran down his cheek as he watched the life he had made drift away, and the plane gained altitude, giving more and more distance by the minute. He leaned back against his seat and prepared for the long flight, closing his eyes. A stewardess came by and gave him a pillow, and he happily accepted it. Only when he began to drift off to sleep did the plane lurch, causing him to jump. "Sorry, just a bit of turbulence," Assured the pilot, but even his voice sounded wary. Not five minutes later did a loud explosion cause Shane to scream. He stared out the window, horrified at the burning wing. The plane began to drop, and it was a full-scale panic. The pilot was yelling muffled things- which Shane found difficult to hear, and he was attempting to pull the plane up. But it didn't help. In the moments before the plane hit, Shane sent out a text to Reed.
I love you. And then, his world went dark. Dark and painful.
((I GOT it! He goes deaf
