A very rare thing occurred after Shane left; Reed swore. He let out a string of the worst profanities he could think of, then reprimanded himself, "damnit, Reed! You idiot! Why did you say it like that?! You can't love two people! And right after you got back, too. Ugh!" as soon as he began to pace, he tripped over a tree root, landing hard and not bothering to get up. He noticed that Shane hadn't taken the car that Ree had bought him. The small blonde boy sprawled on the ground, completely forgetting that he might ruin his clothes.

Shane drove as fast as he could without breaking the speed limit, desperately trying to just get AWAY. He wasn't sure where he was going, and he eventually found himself at the airport. "Why not..." He growled, quickly buying a ticket to Colorado and boarding the almost-ready to take off plane. Reed got to have a 'vacation' and right now, Shane desperately needed to get back to Colorado. Who knows, he might just stay. At least it was the weekend, and transfers were easy to do.

Reed lay on the ground, staring at the sky which seemed to be the exact opposite of how he wa feeling at the moment. "Stupid sun. Stupid blue sky." he spat, as he got to his feet and began to pace again. He took out his phone and send Shane a text: Honey, I'm sorry. You deserve better. -Dormouse

Shane took out his phone o turn it off, and noticed a text from Reed. He narrowed his eyes and texted back furiously, wiping his eyes to clear the angry tears. I'm going back to Colorado. Most likely staying. I'll send for my stuff, Dalton was never a good idea. At least you've got someone to replace me. He didn't bother to sign his name, he didn't even care.

Reed was already starting his car when the phone buzzed again, another text from Shane. He glanced at it, then peeled out of the lot and urged his car to go faster. When a red light stopped him, he quickly texted back, I understand. If it means anything, I never felt anything for her that compared to what I feel for you. -Dormouse.

((BAM! Car crash. XD))

No. It means nothing to me. You've proved yourself to be a good liar, Reed. I find it hard to believe you. He texted back, turning off his phone, but not before sending another quick text, The plane's leaving. Goodbye. He jammed his phone in his pocket, and buckled himself up.
