Avanti sat by the beach, legs drawn to her chest, and her arms wrapped around them. She put her chin on her knees, her sky-blue eyes staring out at the sea wistfully. She couldn’t wait for everybody to fall asleep, so she could go outside and go nightswimming. She hadn’t known she was going to be living with so many people, but she didn’t really mind; the more people, the better, as she saw it. She enjoyed others’ company. Ave sighed as a couple – she didn’t know if they were really an item or not, but a girl and a boy – splashed into the water before her, a large spray of droplets of water raining in her direction. She cringed, leaning backwards and closing her eyes. She sighed and smiled softly before trotting back to the beach house. There was a full day ahead of her until nighttime. Might as well make it worthwhile.
Avanti hummed a soft tune to herself as she danced upstairs, to her room. She didn’t really know who she was bunking with, if anyone, but that didn’t matter now. For now, she’d focus on the present. Her eyes scanned the walls idly as she contemplated where to find others. She sighed with a shrug and started exploring. It didn’t take her long to find her way to a pair of stairs, descending into what she assumed the downstairs ‘basement’. Avanti hesitated at the top of the stairs. Another boy was already down there. She sighed and started down swiftly, her light footfalls making a soft thumping noise echo back to her. Gracefully, she skipped down the last step and tilted her head at the taller boy. "So you live here too, for now, huh?" As she spoke to the first boy, her eyes wandered to the space behind him. Two others; the ones she'd seen outside, were picking up trash. She arched her eyebrows curiously.
