Calla waited until they were at the very top of the slope then said, "Jump." And slip off the lift. She waited for Taylor at the top.

Kat swerved a little, sending a small wave of snow in Brenda's direction. Kat's legs were soaked from snow.

Taylor jumped off the lift, landing a little akwardly. She straightened up and stumbled over to Calla. "Ok...so I got off the lift uninjured." She laughed, her face already flushed pink from the cold. "Now what?"

Benda smiled at Kat, shaking off the snow. She crouched a little as to gain speed. She whooshed forward, and just in time swerved right to avoid running into a small rock. She laughed her head off.

Kat laughed too, the end of the hill was nearing.

Brenda whooshed down the hill, getting near the bottom. She glanced at Kat, smiling teasingly.

[rain;]

Calla laughed, "Great. And now, we race to the bottom. Just shout if you need my help, ok?" She smiled in a friendly way as her cheeks flusked from the cold.

Kat speeded down the hill, she skidded to a halt at the bottom, making snow spray everywhere.

"Haha ok." Taylor said, positioning herself on the top of the slope, ready to go. She took a deep breath and pushed off, a little wobbly, trying to regain her balance. After a few seconds, she figured out how to get her body in a ice position so she wouldn't sway as much.

Brenda came down a second after her, spraying just as much snow. "Nearly a tie, nearly." She laughed, unstrapping her skis.
