Alexis noticed Zane walk in and eyed him curiously, even in the dark. A rave song came on and she walked over to him. "Hey there. I haven't seen you around, who are you? I'm Alexis." She introduced herself, her obnoxious side melting away slightly.

"I'm not embarassed!" He reassured her. "You just look uncomfortable." He teased.

Amelia nodded biting her lip a little, it was a nasty habit of her. "I am a little" she nodded and shrugged shaking her head. "But i don't want you to don't have fun because of me" she said kindly.

He smiled at her and stopped dancing, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and shrugging. "Why don't we go sit down then? Or check on our picture?"

Zane glanced at Alexis, faintly annoyed that he had been noticed. But, he shrugged it off and `replied,"Er, I'm Zane. Nice to meet you." he held out his hand for a handshake, but then wondered if people around here shook hands when meeting new people. Was it more of a southern, small town thing?

He shrugged. "Not sure, but it looks like fun. Dance with me?" he asked her with a smile.

Amelia smiled and nodded. "Okay" she said and glanced at the picture area and the long line. "How about we go sit" she looked up at him. "If you don't mind"

Alexis glanced at his hand and shook it, a little awkwardly. She didn't usually shake hands. "Nice to meet you, too..... Wanna grab a snack?" She asked kindly.

"Of course I don't." Skylar smiled and led her back over to their previous couch, where their egg-nog was sitting on the coffee table. He sat down and grabbed his, in his blue cup. Hers was a different color; that way he remembered which was his.

Brenda smiled and grabbed his hand softly. "Sure thing." She led him to the center of the room, her dress flowing and stuff.

Zane guessed that he had been right about people not shaking hands, so he stuck his hands in his pockets, making a mental note to remember that. "Um, okay." He replied awkwardly.

[Nimble Awesomeness]

The song changed to a (the song played at the Yule Ball in the forth HP movie :3 ) and he placed his hands on her waist. He was a pretty good dancer, because he's awesome. :3 He started stepping in time to the music, and he swung her around. (Just like in the movie >.>)

Amelia followed behind him smoothing her dress down before she sat and leaned forward grabbing her cup and drinking the little bit that was left. She sat the cup back down and sat straight up.
