The photographers snapped the picture, getting it at a good angle, and said the picture would be ready in about half an hour; they would have to download it onto the computer and find the right file and such, and check that the backgrounds were working. Skylar nodded, "Thanks!" He said, pulling away from Amelia, and taking her hand. "Wanna grab a snack?" He asked casually, noticing Alexis waiting to get her picture taken.


Alexis crossed her arms over her chest and tapped her foot lightly. She wanted her picture to be taken, too!

She smiled and took it, adjusting her dress out a little. The hotel staff were now setting the platters of snacks out all around the lobby, and announcing to everyone that in the dining hall would be a Christmas dinner and a winter movie. They turned on some music, set all the string lights in the lobby to flashing and blinking, and left the room.

"Thanks, you look beautiful." He told her, taking her hand and leading her over to the center of the lobby. "Whaddya wanna do first?"

(( They didn't announce the specific title of it yet, but they will find out soon. See? I mentioned it in this paragraph, Nim. ))

Amelia nodded listening to the photographers and then she glanced at him and nodded. "Yeah sure" she said and glanced at Alexis hearing her shoe on the ground. She looked her dress up and down then glanced down at her own.

He looked at her happily. "I wonder what the movie is gonna be," he said to her curiously.

Alexis noticed her eyeing her simple, pixie-cut, forest green dress. She had to admit, it WAS cute, but also a bit bland. Why would she even be jealous? It was light blue with a white belt! She shrugged and got onto the platform in front of the green-screen, telling the photographers she wanted a picture of her sipping coca-cola next to a polar bear doing the same. (x'D Remember those commercials?)

Skylar smiled and led her over to one of the snack tables, looking over the food. There were yams, deviled eggs, egg-nog, ham and cheese and crackers, and more.

She nodded and bit her lip, watching as the waitor came over with a notepad. He asked for their orders and she glanced at her menu. "Err- Just a {insert a winter holiday food meal thing here} with some water." She ordered politely, handing the waitor the menu.

Amelia smiled and glanced at the food taking a cup of egg-nog taking a small sip. She loved egg-nog, but she couldn't remember when she first tasted it. She shrugged and looked up at him.

"He asked for their oders". Does anyone else see a problem with this? LOL

Jake nodded, bemused. "Yeah, same here but a Dr. Pepper please," he said, leaning back in his chair. The waiter walked away with the menus.

He grabbed some ham, cheese, and a few crackers, making tiny cracker sandwhiches. Typical guy. He ate them quickly and laughed, grabbing some egg-nog for himself as well. He sat down on a couch and gestured for her to come sit with him.

Brenda sighed and rested her hands in her lap; and yet again, the awkward silence haunted her. "I sure hope this movie isn't cheesey." She rolled her eyes, half-teasingly.
