Selene decided to ride Shot-Gun around while she waited. He wasn't nearly as trained as Ghost was but he seemed to be doing alright. A few times he got ready to buck but she kept control.

Kyle sent Midnight racing after them. Sky had gotten a headstart, making Midnight have to work harder to catch up. The already worn out mare struggled to keep up Sky's pace, but she was gradualy gaining on Sky.

Jc didnt let Sky go all out just yet, she wanted them to catch up first... She let Sky do an easy gallop, waiting on them : )

Midnight started to catch up with a more steady pace. She was head to head with Sky now.

'Now for the real race' Jc said after a minute of head to head, nudging Sky to go all out for the last bit to the barn

Kyle didn't have to tell Midnight twice. He loosened her reigns and she bolted onwards, almost matching Sky's pace.

Mel couldnt get in a rider's crouch with the trick saddle, but she tried her best, letting Sky run full out...

Kyle smiled as they finally reached the barn. It was a short race, and because Sky had had more engergy than Midnight, she had won. "That was a close race" Kyle said once they had stopped their horses.
