[Delilah Nightingale]

Lupe sat on her board in the sun her head back as she caressed the waters smooth surface. Many tropical fish and nurse sharks swam beneath her board, but she couldn't care less. Her ice blue eyes scanned the horizon for any energy, any energy at all that could signal a good wave nearby. She was waiting; and humble scribe, writing her song of the sun, waves, and sand.

Marcus looked at her and thought about how he was going to put his feelings to words. "You where a life safer. The cherry kind because you where sweet enough to do such a kind thing for me, even when you hardly new me," he said slowly. Gazing into her eyes, searching for any signs of emotions. He stepped towards her and embraced her happily. He breathed in the sent of her hair, the smell of her clothes, everything about her.

Stepping away, he stuck his hands into his pockets and said, "Let's return this boat to where it belongs." His mind was returning to the smell and feel of her body against his in the friendly embrace. He kept trying to push the thought away but it lingered, as he helped her tie the boat up.

Lucia hopped out of the boat and grabbed her surf board. "Thank you so much guys!" she said gratefully.

Lucia, Kate, Marcus, and Brea are the only ones who seem to be doing anything. maybe if you PM some free characters from the first page... you'll be able to find your answer... Brea smiled softly hugging him back once he hugged her. She toke in his scent for the few seconds; her arms pressed against him taking in the way his body felt before he pulled away. Happiness for being a life saver danced in her eyes; and suprise from the hug. "If that's a thank-you; then your welcome." She said with a shrug pulling her car keys out of her pocket. "Yeah, before my foster mom chews me out for takin the boat out without permission; and parent supervision, and for running out on her. She wanted to take me girl shopping, just didn't feel like it today." She said climbing into the driver's seat. She felt short around Marcus; well she felt short around everyone! She was five-three! Like come on. She hated being short. She started the mustang up hearing the engine purr to life.

Marcus laughed at her remark and quickly helped her return the boat to where she'd gotten it. When she climbed out of the car again. He quickly built up courage to ask her on a mini date. "You know, if you don't want to go girl shopping with your mother, I can always take you smoothy tasting at the surf shack along the board walk. it's not far."
