Cheyenne nodded, her eyes showing sadness. "Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that." She said softly, able to relate to him a little because of the foster home thing. She let her hair fall to cover her face and her fading bruise.

"Its ok, its not that bad i guess." He said shrugging. He still couldnt take his eyes off her face. It was like she was trying to hide the marks.

Cheyenne nodded a little. "I guess." She said, looking down and closing her eyes. She tried to pull her sleeves a bit lower to cover her newer bruises her foster dad had given her before she left as a going away reminder of him.

He could see the hurt on her face. She was hiding soemthing, strangly and awkwardly he walked beside her and put an arm around her. "Listen- nothing can hurt you here its ok." He said, feeling abuse had been something of her past.

Cheyenne looked up to Drake and felt a bit more comforted. "O-okay." She said, gently hugging him since she thought of him now as a friend who she could trust so far.

Cheyenne let go and stepped back. "I-I'm sorry." She said, looking down. Hopefully this wasn't an awkward moment.

"Its ok," he said softly as she stood back. Trying to decide what to say. Boy why was it so hard considering that he was just trying to talk.

Cheyenne nodded and looked up towards him with soft white eyes. "Okay." She said softly. "It's just I think of you as a friend and I haven't had a friend in a long while." She admitted.
