Allis smiled at Drake, but then walked to another table, ignoring him for moment. After taking there order, she flipped to a clean piece of paper and wrote in bold letters, making it large enough for him to read- "I hate my job."

Drake chuckled. HE walked across the road and he tied Ace outside and walked it. HE sat down near Allis. "Thats why I work with animals." HE smiled replying.

[Allis~]

Allis sighed, rolling her eyes. "If only they'd let me. So, what do you want to drink?" Her blue pen hovered over the paper, as she looked at him with her pale eyes, one brow raised. Her black converse tapped against the ground softly, barely making a noise.

Drake leaned back. "Umm...Hmm...Ill have a iced tea." He smiled.

[Allis~]

"Right away." She turned on her heel, walking over to the kitchen. She poured a glass of tea and put a lemon on the top. She waited a minute, giving him time to think of what he wanted. As she made her way back, one of the toddlers flung a spoonful of mash potatoes at her. She tried to duck, but the large glob hit her on the cheek. She dropped the drink, brown liquid arching in the air and landing on her white blouse. Her mouth hung open and she heard stifled laughter.

Drake tried to hold back a laugh, which succeeded. He stood up and walked over. "Ill help clean."

[Allis~]

Allis felt tears threatening to spill over her long lashes. She turned her face away, wiping off the mashed potatoes from her face. "N-No, I got it," She bit her bottom lip, trying to stop it from trembling. She bent down and began to rub the carpet with a towel another waitress handed her. She tucked her hair behind her ears and tried to clean off her shirt.

Drake went back to his seat and sat down. He looked to Ace outside. Then he looked to his needle pack he had on his waist. He looked inside. No needles.. Drake gasped quietly. "Where did they go?!" HE panicked. He looked around and didn't see them. "Those needles are for serious use only.." He told himself over and over again.

[Allis~]

Allis managed to get the mess cleaned up, and clocked out early to go home. She pushed to door open, noticing that it was getting dark. She saw Drake and asked, "What's wrong?" in a soft voice.

Drake felt his pockets and spun around. Then he saw Allis. "The health needles. I carry them in my pouch for any emergencies for any animals that need help..There gone.."
