I got up to my normal height, rolling my eyes to Jay's cocky comments. As if a lightbulb formed over my head, I gave Jay a forceful push hoping he would fall into the water just like the time they had first met. I wasn't the strongest girl ever with my arms, but with my legs? That was a different story.

Jay blinked, surprised when Ryan spontaneously shoved him, but laughed as he let himself fall into the water with a splash, cooling off and holding his breath so he looked like a chipmunk. Coming up he grinned, and as soon as his head was out of the water he grabbed Ryan by her waist and leaped back under, pulling her down with him.

I stumbled at first when Jay pulled me under, but soon after I fell in. Memories which seemed so long ago came into my head. I remembered when I had first met Jay. When I opened my eyes under water, my eyes stung. I saw the green blue water, the sand and a figure of Jay in front of me.

Jay blinked under water, his eyes narrowed slightly to help the salt stop stinging them, but they soon got used to it. The form of Ryan was hovering in front of him, her hair pooled out around her head. He smiled, still holding his breath, and waved at her comically, not really thinking about anything. This was the way he normally was--or rather, tried to be. Just there for a laugh.

I smiled slyly at Jay and waved back at him. I couldn't see the details of Jay since the water was pretty much bothering my eyes. I closed my eyes, blocking the water from my eyes. I came up to the surface, wiping my my eyes.

[should I work on a little romance between them? xD]

Jay let all his air go out in large bubbles before springing up to the surface, and breathing happily. He looked down under the soft rolling waves to see Ryan under the water. He didn't know why, but he was really happy that she had waved back at him. He hadn't expected her too.

I glanced at Jay, well at least tried to. His back was facing the sun, so if I ever wanted to look that direction, I thought the sun would blind me. Cast an overwhelming blackness. I pursed my lips together and splashed myself with the ocean water, the fiery ball of gas (aka the sun) starting to heat up my wet body. I bit my lip and looked around. The beach wasn't as full as I thought it would of been. Looks like people like the pool more then the beach.

[I'm not to sure either. Should they just try to romance thing or not though? xD]

Jay watched Ryan curiously, his head tipped to the side slightly. She looked slightly uncomfortable, and he didn't want that. He liked it better when she smiled--she was pretty when she smiled. "What's up?" He asked, curious as to what she was thinking.

I looked at Jay and managed a smile. "Nothing really." I looked over at the beach shore. "Wanna get out of the water?" I asked, pointing toward my towel that was laid on the beach shore. I wasn't sure what made me get suddenly out my spirits. I guess I was homesick and missed my friends back at home. No that wouldn't come so suddenly. I guess I was just suddenly tired.
