Jeff followed a little slower, still blushing as he walked."I keep forgetting. Other people don't accept us." He mumbled, obvious hurt in his voice as he ducked his head to avoid the looks they were receiving.

"Ignore them. Who cares what some strangers think," Jasper said, keeping his chin up as they walked, refusing to show how hurt he was. "Losers.." he muttered under his breath.

Jeff nodded, not speaking for fear of bursting into tears. "J-Jasper? How can you stay so strong? How does it not hurt you? What they say? It really depressing for me." He murmured, tears stinging his glasz eyes.

Jasper pulled Jeff into the shade, sending him a soft but forced smile. "It does hurt. A lot. I just refuse to show them that they hurt me. Jeff they're just seeking a reaction. Another reason to critisise us. Don't give them one. Ignore them. And if you can't just think about something else." He was giving Jeff the exact advice his mother gave him when he was having trouble.

Jeff nodded, though tears continued to well in his bright eyes. "I try Jasper, I really do. But it's just so hard. Pretending it doesnt bother me. Im not brave or courageous like you are Jasper. I can't simply choose to ignore something. Now I know it doesnt take much to upset me, but they don't even know me and theyve decided theyre better than me." The tears that had stung his eye now rolled down his cheeks, engulfing them in liquid.

"Thats because they're jerks. People like.. that " He spat the last word, "Think they're better than everyone. Don't beleive them Jeff. You are who you are. Nothing to be ashamed of. People who think its a rotton phase or just a disese should learn to shut they're damn mouths and mind their own buisness."

"It's so hard. I can't help but feel that theres something... wrong with me when I hear what they say. They say it's wrong and I think it is sometimes. Why would they say it's wrong if it isn't?" Jeff sniffed, looking up at Jasper as his head fell against the other's chest.

"They only think its wrong because they don't know the true meaning of love. They think gender matters. It doesn't. When you love someone you love them no matter what they do, act like or look. You love them regardless of gender. I love you no matter how dorky, cheesey and annoying you can be. Sorry..but..I only think your annoying right when I wake up. I love you for you and I don't care how cheesey that sounds. Theres nothing wrong with you Jeff." Jasper told him, true honesty shining in his eyes.

"I really love you Jasper, but it hurts so much when they say things like that. I love you, despite your tendency to be over protective. You really, really get on my nerves sometimes, but I still love you. And you have never stopped being a dork since fifth grade. And how oblivious you've been to my love for you. You didn't even notice my stalkerish levels of love that have been there since we met." Jeff whispered, pulling away from Jasper with tear filled eyes."My god! Your shirt is soaked! Sorry!"

"Meh, its supposed to rain later. Thats why I gave you my jacket. And I am not a do- oh, why do I even bother. Even I can't convince myself that. I love you too Jeff. Wait..you stalked me? Am I that oblivious? Well, I guess I can't talk since I sat on your doorstep in the mornings waiting to hear your alarm go off so I could ring your doorbell," JAsper said with a sheepish smile.
