Dear Royal,
Welcome to the royal experiment. If you are reading this, you have been
formally invited to participate in this program. We have collected a group
of teenage royals from around the world, and will send the group to a
small American high school. America was chosen due to their lacking
knowledge of the royalties of the world, so you should be safe during
your year stay. We have arranged so that you are grouped in with
roommates of similar age or gender. The school is located in the
San Francisco Bay area, so pack for amazing weather and ocean
swims. Remember that it is imperative that you keep your royal
identity a secret, otherwise you shall be sent back to your kingdom.


Dear Ravenwood Student,
Welcome to the upcoming school year! This year we are hosting a
group of foreign exchange students, and some of which have
been assigned to be your charge. Please guide them around the way
of a standard, American High School experience. We request that
you upkeep the values of the Ravenwood Academy. A few students
have come from very far lands, and they have wished to stay at this
very fine school.

Personality - Vivette is a warm and outgoing presence wherever she goes, usually willing to strike up a conversation with anyone, enjoying learning about other people and their interests. She appears to be trusting and naive because of this, and other people try to use this to take advantage of her - even before knowing that she's an heir to a throne - though being underestimated before revealing that she is entirely aware of any plan or attempted manipulation is something that she seems to thoroughly enjoy doing, showing perhaps something of a mischievious side and is certainly not as innocent as she may appear. Vivette also has the tendency to speak her mind, especially if there's something that she doesn't particularly like, though she's trying to hold herself back from doing so - though her facial expressions tend to give her thoughts away anyway. Regardless, for those that she can truly trust, Vivette is incredibly loyal. She also has an air of elegance about her.

Bio - Vivette is the younger sister to her older sibling, who is due to be crowned the Monarch of South Africa first - though her sibling has already made it clear that they don't plan to have any heirs themselves, and therefore Vivette is next in line after her sibling. They've even mentioned wanting to abdicate to Vivette. She's not given quite as much pressure, being the second heir, but is still expected to act appropriately, of course. Though she's not given many royal duties, she very much enjoys them, and is quite looking forward to the day she'll be crowned Queen - though she knows it won't be for a long while yet... unless her sibling does abdicate. Either way, Vivette is currently looking to have some fun before the real responsibilities and such kick in.

Personality - Rueben is cold, sharp and unfriendly towards other people. He wants to be left alone most of the time, and has no problem with snapping at someone who doesn't get the hint. He gives off a 'don't care' attitiude when it comes to who other people are - everyone has to earn his respect properly, no matter who they are. He just doesn't like most other people, and sure, he often automatically assumes the worst of others, but in his opinion, it's better than thinking and hoping the best of others - especially when it comes to his vitiligo and the fact that he's in a wheelchair. Despite his cold, unfriendly outer shell, if you have enough patience and understanding, then he'll probably warm up to you, and prove himself to be loyal, caring and protective. It's going to, of course, take a lot of time before he even considers warming up to anyone, though. Still, those rare few that do get to see his warmer side must surely mean something special to Rueben.

Bio - Rueben initially grew up in England, but moved to the US at the age of 12 after his mother got a promotion and was part of an expansion opportunity for the company she works for. Though they remained based in the US, his mother would often be asked to move every year, year and a half, to help with the set up of new offices and further expansion of the company. Therefore, Rueben stopped making any sort of meaningful connections with other people, knowing that he'd be moving on in a year or so anyway. Even though his mother had been permanently stationed at their current location - where they have been for 2 years now, which is the longest they've been anywhere since moving. At the age of 15, Rueben was in a car crash that severely injured him to the point his legs are paralysed, so he uses a wheelchair now. He can sometimes stand for a very short amount of time, but he has to hold or lean on something and he's not very stable.
