"Definitely weird," Oz said and nodded. If he didn't get into a fight at lunch, he would probably go then and see if they had the book. He then turned his attention to a boy who seemed to be talking to him. He smirked a little when he looked at the front of the class room and saw the teacher asleep at his desk. "Should I go over there and loosen a few screws on his desk," he asked the boy, only partly joking. He did after all have a swiss army knife in his back pack - even though it was against school rules - and it did have a screw driver setting. He didn't always get along with the teacher, so he was more than willing to mess with him.

He shrugged again, as if it was no big deal - it had only been a quick Google search, after all. Then, he also glanced towards the kid that mentioned the teacher being asleep, and then to the teacher in question. 'Probably had a long night. Hopefully no one will wake them up...' Rhett thought, and returned his focus towards Lincoln. He raised an eyebrow, still quite skeptical. "I guess we'll see if that's true, then." he said, then he nodded in confirmation. "Sure. As long as you don't film anything, obviously. And if you're lucky, I might let you spray paint something." Rhett saw the excitement Lincoln seemed to be trying to control, and he smiled a bit again. "I'll let you know once I've finalised my design."

Skyler smirked when she saw the teacher sleeping. "I guess he's as bored by school as we are," she said. "I wish I could just fall asleep in the middle of the school day. And preferably not wake up until the end of the year." She laughed, but her light tone disguised a deep pain and fear of what was to come.

Lincoln smiled “I know, but it saved me the trouble.” He said and chuckled slightly. He shook his head as some other kid asked about loosening the screws in his desk. He looked back to Rhett and smiled at him “I won’t, I promise, ehh I don’t know if that’s a good idea or not.” He told him “I have the artistic ability of a fish.” He added with a chuckle and smiled again “okay.” He hummed slightly and pulled his phone out, opening a new contact and sliding it over to Rhett “so you can get ahold of me easier.” He winked.

Rhett raised an eyebrow when he overheard one of the others talking about loosening the screws in the teacher's desk. He thought it was a terrible idea, in his opinion. But there wasn't anything he could do.
He then nodded. "Well, thank you." he found himself having to lightly chuckle, though it only lasted a moment before he stopped quite quickly. "A fish? Now I have to see that. Perhaps on paper, rather than a wall, though..."
He glanced down at the phone as Lincoln slid it across the desk to him, then Rhett quickly filled in his contact details. Then, he slid it back. "Here you go."

He stopped himself from laughing again. It was kind of annoying, to find himself genuinely liking and looking forward to arranging something with someone else. Making a friend. Not what he expected to be so willing to do. Maybe it was because he felt he had nothing else to lose, being chucked into this school.
"You aren't going to go off me now that you scored my number, right?" Rhett asked, raising an eyebrow. He was a little surprised that Lincoln had taken note of his laugh, and he blushed lightly again. "You think so?" he leaned forward, towards Lincoln. "Maybe I'll do it again if something funny happens."

He's quiet when he wants to be, and louder at other times,
depending on the situation. He likes being in the background,
thinking about designing his own clothesline, a dream he aspires
for, though his parents disagreed on. The teen enjoys sketching
out ideas, wanting to share his vision with other people who may
enjoy the same style he has. Samuel tends to fidget a lot, be it
with his fingers, hands, mouth, or legs, he'll do it. It keeps him
calm and attentive to others, as his listens to conversations. He's
smart, though he may not look it. He's great at ELA, liking to read
in his free time, whenever he can. He has a gentle yet steady voice,
that carries an affectionate tone to most people, those who are kind
to him at least. He's an introverted kid, yet there for any who may
need a listening ear and some help.
On to his more negative traits, Phillips has trouble not being rebellious
to social norms, to his parents, and restraining adult figures. He loves to
express himself, and infact needs to in a way. He just needs to show
people who and how he is, no matter what happens or what they may
think. If he has to get into a fight, he will, and won't back down. Once he
has something on his mind, he won't stop thinking about it.
He is scared of failure, and being nothing to his parents. Sami wants to
make something of himself, to be successful, but he wants to do it his
way. He doesn't want to follow some path already dug out for him, he wants
a choice. The teen also strives for perfection, no matter how impossible it
may seem to others. He may fail on his journey there, but he's determined to
fit that perfect boy in his head. He doesn't want to be some other kid that's
alone and isolated, separated from others because of his appearance, personality,
or troubles he has. He's frankly quite scared of not being accepted by his peers,
wanting to be valued, and worth something.

Sami has dirty-blonde and messy hair, being brown at the roots and
ending in blonde tips. He has pale blue eyes that compliment his fair
skin and freckles that are scattered across his face. He's a short 5'6
and 129 pounds, with a small bit of muscle. He's not the strongest, but
not weak either. He has hidden scars that vary all around his body,
from his past.
He enjoys painting his nails and wearing comfortable
and soft clothing such as hoodies, sweatshirts, button-up shirts, and
overalls, among other things. He wears sneakers mostly, and his clothes
vary in color, usually differing each day.
He enjoys expressing himself in his appearance and showing
his personality through his clothes instead of speaking. He likes to go
for a "soft boy" or sometimes a "soft edgy boy" style.

⚘ Biography ⚘
The beginnings of Sami's life was fairly normal, as normal as life
could be at least. Most of his childhood was well, with the normal
kid-drama that would happen such as friendships breaking up
and talk about crushes on girls that he didn't really like. As far
as he knew, liking boys was something that was normal to himself,
though not to others where he lived. So, Sami hid these scary feelings,
continuing on this way for the rest of childhood, and as a teenager as
well. He was scared of what they meant, what they were. They weren't
commonplace in his home state of Ohio, not the societal norm that was
accepted. He held off of feelings and emotions until he couldn't no longer,
and accidentally made a fool out of himself when he tried to ask out another
boy in his grade. The teen was rejected, and beat up by the kid, along with
his own friends. He was ostracized by those he thought were with him,
fearful of the one that was different than them. He was alone, and learned
what it felt to be worth nothing. To be seen as weak. He never wanted to
be thrown down again, on the cold ground at the cafeteria, with no adults
caring to help him in his time of need.
He started a fight with the same kid that he used to love, making
sure to show everyone what he was made of. This ended in him
being expelled from his school, leaving his parents angry and upset
at him, demanding an answer. All he could tell them is that he liked
boys, and he wasn't going to let others stomp down on him. Let's just
say, they didn't agree with this view.
Whatever it was that drove them to hate him, it hurt the teen, who still
loved and
valued his parents. Even if he shouldn't, he did, and sometimes blamed
himself for everything, while at other times he completely despised them.
His fairly normal life had changed for the worse, and his own home, his own
school, and his own town wasn't safe for him anymore. It was time to run away.
If he wasn't wanted, he would find somewhere he was. In the cover of night,
he rode away on a train, sticking his head out as he watched the cities pass by.
Sami didn't know where he would stay, where he was destined to go. He just
watched, and watched, tracing the constellations on the window of the
transportation system. Packed away in his large backpack, full of pins, was
food, water, money, and other essentials to fuel his journey. He soon fell to
sleep, dreaming of himself sitting in a large field, full of flowers that were soft
to the touch. They caressed his face as he lay in them, brushing his black eye,
scratches, and bruises that decorated the teen with abuse. He rested there for
a long while, until he was ready to return to the waking world.
Or, at least, when the world chose to wake him up. The conductor of the
train was there in front of him, along with two police officers. The cops
brought him to the station until child services came, taking him in. He was
given a quiet home life, with a cat, a foster brother called Max, and
actual parents that loved him, no matter who he was.
He still didn't feel at home with these people, no matter how kind they
were. Sami requested to be emancipated, to be seen as a legal adult in
the eyes of the world. He left his replacement family, took up multiple jobs,
got back to school, found a cheap apartment to rent out, and allowed himself
to heal from the past and figure out who he really was.

Lincoln looked up at him “no, I like you Rhett, why would I do that?” He was genuinely confused about why the other male thought he’d just off him now that he got his number “if I was going to do that, I wouldn’t have even spoke to you and saved the emotional attachment that’ll eventually come.” He added then lifted his head and rested his chin on his fist “yeah! I think your laugh is adorable!” He said happily then titled his head slightly as Rhett leaned toward him “w-well.. For some reason, Lincoln could flirt with anyone easily, but as soon as Rhett leaned towards him a little bit, he gets all flustered, he couldn’t understand why.
