Daniel shook his head, getting up and leaving the room before trudging down the hallway, his face red from crying as he let out a quiet angered noise. He rarely got angry, and he walked into the bathroom, walking in and going up to the mirror, gripping the sink and shaking his head. His fists balled up in anger and sadness, a bit of agony from the soreness of the stitches. He let out a heavy sigh, letting out a muffled shout while jabbing a fist at the small bathroom mirror, He didn't want to see his reflection, he didn't want to see himself, he was as broken as this mirror.. The glass cracked, some pieces falling to the floor as he hissed out in pain, his knuckle red, pieces of glass had cut into his skin, he shoved his hand under the tap, blood trickling out but he found the situation calming and relieving of his stress, anger, and sadness. Meanwhile, the teacher tapped their foot, staring at the clock, it had been ten minutes since Daniel's left and he hasn't returned, the teacher rolled their eyes before looking around the room, Ryder seemed to be near the end of the work sheet, so the teacher walked over, tapping his desk with a single finger. "Could you go check on Daniel, you are both new and I don't think he feels welcomed at this school" the teacher asked, worried but also annoyed that the boy hadn't returned.

Ryann looked over at the girl who came in late, she found a seat behind Millie as Ryann turned back to her work. She didn't feel like talking to anyone right now-she was barely half way through writing her name on her paper, but, she did offer her a friendly smile before turning back to her sheet. Ryann was gushing at how Jack had told Mercury the'd be going on a date, the boy better treat her right, he seemed sweet, hopefully she could find someone like that in her life. She let out a small sigh, wondering what she was going to do if Atticus didn't want to sit with her at lunch.

Millie looked up and saw the girl smile at her. "Oh, thanks. I like drawing flowers." She chuckled and tucked her hair behind her ear. She recognized this girl. She was a popular, but seemed different than everyone else. She wasn't as preppy and seemed more like a rebel than a popular, but I guess that's why everyone liked her. She glanced over at Ryann who seemed to be lost in thought, probably thinking about Atticus. She gently nudged her and said, "Hey dude, don't worry. Atticus is for sure gonna say yes. You're as cute as a button, why wouldn't he?" She laughed quietly.

Cade was a bit taken aback when Aspen had become a bit frightened from his touch. He thought they had been going somewhere. When she got back on the bike he shrugged, "Yeah. I am pretty hot, aren't I?" and laughed. "And yes. Please please please, for the love of god, please stop trying to protect me. I can handle myself. You think just because my family is stupid rich, that I've had all the advantages? Wrong. My dad didn't give me crap. I should be the one worried about you. You're the girl with the crazy, mafia uncle and... others...." He said, frowning. "So please Aspen, stop worrying about me. And it is not your responsibility if I get hurt. I'm my own man. Don't blame yourself." He said in a soothing voice, holding her waist nice and tight.

Lockie tried his best to pay attention to the subject. But he constantly found his mind drifting away, to different things. One, of course, was dance. Then he also thought about Atticus, what did the other boy actually think of him? What questions would his parents ask him about his first day? Would his dad want to go for a run later? What would his mum make for dinner?

"Lachlan Fraser, come up to the desk." Lockie looked up to see the teacher beckon him up. Getting up from the desk, he tried not to disturb anyone as he walked toward the desk. All he had to do, however, was explain what work he had done in his old school, the terms he had learned.

Bree continued with her doodle. She couldn't really draw that well, but she knew what her drawings meant. Little doodles of choreography, little notes with facial expressions or annotations of beats. The redhead was so absorbed in her doodle that she was startled when the teacher asked her a question.

"Pardon?" Bree tried not to let the giggles and mutters of her classmates bother her. What did she care?

"I asked Breanna, what are the types of immunity?" the teacher repeated, nodding to the board. Bree thought quickly back through her past lessons before summer.

"Uh...uh...innate and....uh," Bree stuttered. "Um, adaptive?" Bree could've kicked herself for wording the second part as a question. The teacher, who usually would ask if she asking a question didn't, however, do it. Instead, he nodded and went into depth about the subject. Bree felt herself relax, not knowing she was even tense, and quickly jotted down some notes.

Ryann blushed, flicking her arm playfully as she shook her head. Atticus was attractive-no doubt about that, Ryann on the other hand, not so much. She's only dated one boy-back at her other school when she was in another foster family, but she suffered his physical abuse and control over her so she was thankful when the family sent her back and she was out of that boys life. She shook her head at Mercury, "Thank-ks Millie" she smiled, looking at Jack who had looked at Millie with such adoration, "Look at-t that lov-vesick puppy" Ryann gushed, motioning to the boy who averted his gaze when she called him out. She chuckled, Millie and Jack would be adorable together, she was truly rooting for something further than a friendship.

"Okay Wilson, don't say I didn't warn you" she commented, ignoring the burning of her skin from his touch. She got goosebumps, she twisted her body around to make eye contact with him, making sure he wasn't hesitant before noticing he wasn't. "Sorry, I just don't want you to get caught up in this mess, but, lets go" she shrugged, revving the engine with the rotation of her wrist before she drove forwards, through an empty parking spot and she turned onto the road. Aspen had been driving now for about ten to fifteen minutes, she could see the old run down shed from where she was as she sped up a bit to turn into the lot, surrounded by plains of land before she swerved the bike, cutting through the dirt with a smirk on her face as she set a foot down while turning off the engine. She hopped off, "We have arrived, madam" She teased in a low voice as she grabbed his hand, she switched the roles, she liked that. She grabbed his hand, pulling him off the bike gently before taking off her helmet and placing it on the seat. She unlocked the storage, pulling out the bag of fresh cans and stencils. "Pick a colour" she said, opening the bag and placing it on the seat of the bike, looking up at him and sending him a flirtatious wink while she pulled out yellow and brown. Swiftly turning walking past him, purposely grazing his hand as she walked by, and stood in front of the shed, holding up her stencil to see where she was going to print this piece of art.

xxxxxRoselyn's smile grew as she remembered the beating sun against her back while she walked along one of the trails. It was beautiful though, more of a marsh rather than a forest with cattails and milkweed lining it. It was probably one of her favorites. "Yeah, actually there's some boardwalk trails that aren't bad at all and that'd be a lot of fun." Roselyn agreed with excitement in her grey-green eyes, knowing that early fall was one of the best times to go. As the boy asked about her aunt, the girl gave him a half-hearted shrug then sighed. "Eleven...In three months. She's definitely insane." Roselyn was just worried that one day the old lady would come home with someone dangerous if she hadn't already. As the boy began to talk about what he had done, Roselyn's interested peaked. "Cool, sounds like you've been pretty busy, but you'll have to show me your new basketball skills sometime." That reminded just a bit of when she'd cheer for the Basketball team. Yes, the girl had always been flexible, but that was one thing that Rose didn't miss, those itchy, too-short skirts and tanks.

xxxxx Vera tried to focus on taking a few calculus notes, written carefully in pen, but she could tell right now that wasn't going to happen with her head deciding to throb. Of course, Mr. Matson was a teacher that always gave out homework on the first day, especially if you didn't finish in class--most students never did. When Dean arrived, Vera gave him an exhausted smile, her pretty, azure gaze, however, showed momentary relief. "It's alright, Dean, but I'm just barely hanging on though...God, I didn't do anything too stupid at the party, right?" The brunette's voice was sincere, but smooth like sheer silk as she thanked him for the aspirin and welcomed it into her mouth. At this point, Vera didn't even know how she managed to wake up in the morning, choose out a dress that hugged her body perfectly, and curl her hair. That surprised herself.

As the girl arrived into the classroom and sat beside her, Vera immediately knew that she was new. However, the small wave the party boy gave her made her a little curious.

“Ryann... shh...” she chuckled, blushing slightly. “Look, you’re making him all flustered!” She whispered, giggling a bit, but making sure Jack didn’t hear. Millie was really the one who was flustered. Again, she had never been asked out, much less crushed on by someone. She usually hated mushy stuff, but this new feeling made her soft. Cade grabbed a can of blue and pink paint. It was unusual in his hand, as he was wearing all black. He walked up next to her. “Ok. So... what exactly are we putting up here?” He asked, looking at the wall, narrowing his eyes. Cade was actually a pretty skilled artist. He mostly did street art, like this. Sometimes if he was feeling stressed, he’d head down under the bridge near route 70 and throw up whatever came into his mind. Surprisingly, his art was usually bright and colorful. Their purpose was mostly to stand out.

Aspen looked over at him sending him as smile as she slowly trailed over. She looked him up and down, he was truly sculpted by the hands of God himself. She kept her eyes trained on his, his hair looking extremely soft and touchable as she came to stand beside him and look up at the wall. She shrugged, dropping the stencils, perhaps they'd free-hand this, she wasn't bad at free-handing at all. She locked an arm around his waist, much shorter than him to get an arm up on his shoulder. "I dunno man, what does the hottie have in mind?" she asked before looking up and sending him a wink. She plugged an earbud into her ear while playing her spotify playlist. "Do you have any ideas Wilson?" she asked, resting her head on his arm while looking at the cans in their hands, this art piece was going to be incredible.

Millie kept looking up at the clock, then back down on her paper. Then back at the clock. Then back at the paper. In order to pass the time, she started doodling more flowers. This time, a hand with a rose growing out of the palm.

“Hm... maybe something like... this?” He shook up the paintcan after grabbing a mask from the bag and placing it around his mouth and nose. He approached the wall and started outlining what looked to be the head of a woman. He colored it in with pink and then took the blue, highlighting for lighting. Then he took a black can with a smaller nozzle and started outlining some details. So far, it looked like a very well done portrait of a woman, colored with pink, blue, purple, and now yellow, as he was giving it more lighting. Every now and then, he’d glance back at Aspen and continue. He finally finished after a bit and stepped back. It was a portrait of Aspen’s face and it was beautiful. As a finishing touch, he outlined it in white and blue. He took the mask off and looked at her. “What do you think? If you want, I can blur out your eyes so no one knows it’s you.” He had also left a whole space for Aspen to do her thing on the wall.

Aspen watched, she liked his technique, looking like pop art as she took it in. She traced the image with her eyes, her eyes widening as she realised it was her. "Woah" she mumbled under her breath. She put on her own mask, grabbing the white and black cans of paint with the smaller nozzles. She started with jagged lines. Black lines, they resembled of broken glass. She continued to outline broken pieces of glass, giving it a 3d effect before using grey to shade in some areas and white to give it a glossy shine. From that she grabbed a light skin coloured can colour, spraying inside the shards while creating the facial form of a person. She used the dark brown to add many strands of hair, creating curls. She created skin patterns, creating it to be simple but realistic, it had been her friend from a few years ago, Natasha, she'd gotten caught up with her uncles gang. They had dealt drugs and such and she owed money, she got into an 'accident' and died, Aspen then added a halo above her head, she was her best friend, she was another reason why Aspen was like this. She missed her. Aspen signed her name, her eyes tearing up as she stepped back to analyze it. She tore off her mask, a bit of anger in her eyes, angry tears spilling from her eyes as she shook her head. She sprung forwards, no mask on her face as she passed scribbles of the white paint over her art. She was angry, truly angry she'd suffered this loss, her friend had gone because her uncle was greedy. She let out a small cry as she continued to scribble out her friends painted face. She inhaled the foul smell of the sprayed paint, ignoring it before pounding her fists onto the wall. "I don't understand!" she let out angrily, she had to get this temper out of her system she'd bottled it up way to long. She threw her fists at the wall, knuckle meeting concrete as she ignored the stinging of her bruised knuckles. Her eyes shut tightly as she released her anger, tears pouring down her face as she forgot that Cade was still next to her.
