Rory stifled a chuckle at her Dean's quick comeback. This one was smooth. "Oh, cool, I'll look forward to that one, then." The girl flashed a small smile back to Dean. Art was always somewhat of a fun hobby she dabbled in. By no means would she refer to herself as an artist, though. More of a serial doodler. She collected her schedule back, holding it neatly and stuffing it into her back pocket for later reference.
As he dropped his gaze to an incoming text message, she took it as her cue to leave. The halls now empty except for the two, she was becoming increasingly aware of the fact that she was making him late. "Oh, no I'm good." She hastily responded, checking behind herself to catch a glimpse of where the bathroom was. "I'll go take care of this, thanks again." She lifted up the towel. "I don't want to make you any later than you are." With a quick wave in his direction, she headed off in the direction of the restroom to dry off.

After drying off and sorting out her schedule, Rory made her way to her homeroom class. Achingly aware of her first-day tardiness, she quietly slipped through the door. With the teacher's back temporarily turned to her, she made haste in finding a seat. Preferring a seat close to the door, the girl dropped her stuff on the ground near an empty seat. To her side, a pretty girl chatted with what could only be described as your typical skater boy. Rory eyed the two curiously as she took her seat, cracking a small smile. The stereotypes were almost laughable with how obvious they were.
