Emma gave herself a little high five when she saw Dakota crack a little smile. “Well, I mean…” She stopped before starting again, “Honestly, I don’t even think I’ll ask who I was originally going to ask. As I’ve found a far better option.” She said in reference to Dakota. “There’s no use in stressing about something that may never happen, y’know?” Emma said. She felt a little stupid for not asking him to the dance right then at that moment, luckily, she managed to hear him say something that set up the perfect moment to ask, “Even you?” Not the way she’d typically imagine asking someone to a dance for the first time, but she felt that it was a smooth little proposition

Alex smiled back as he continued to eat his cotton candy, he was enjoying his time with her and it made him forget that she was portrayed as such a bad person. "I don't see why everyone painted you as so vicious, they just have to spend some time with you to get to know the real you!" He said as it made him feel better to know that people can change.

right as jacob was losing his patience, he heard a voice from behind him. the voice was lucy prior’s, and she was offering him one of her pencils. jacob smiled and accepted her offer. he had never really spoken to her before. he would occasionally see her around in the halls, but they had never had a conversation. jacob stared at her for a second with a small grin on his face, she had pretty eyes and nice brunette hair.

dakota glared towards lucy as she handed jacob her pencil. ”how sweet of you to do something for the love of your life,” he said before leaving. jacob was a bit surprised by his remark but he directed his attention back to lucy, who was already replying back. dakota has already walked out the door though, leaving him and lucy behind.

”thanks,” jacob grinned and held up the pencil, ”would’ve been screwed if you didn’t lend me one,” he finished. right as he was about to turn back around, he looked at lucy one more time and opened his mouth, ”you have a pretty smile by the way,” he said and gave a sly wink.

kayla let out a small giggle at his last remark. ”it’s okay, i get that way sometimes too,” she assured him then continued on to answer his question, ”i like fantasy and sci-fi, but i really like romance. i mean they can be cliche at times, but i still enjoy reading them,” kayla finished with a smile. it was true, she really liked romance novels. but finding good books of the genre always seemed hard to do.

Before the ravenette could utter a single word, she spoke about her old town. He listened to her carefully, taking a slight note of things as she spoke. So, this one is a singer, eh? Suppose he could consider her one of the many 'creative' kids they have. "I see, a singer and a actor. Creative type of person you would be." He replied, before thinking. Other singers and actors? Well, they got four creative kids that he knows about. "Well, we have three singers and one actor. One of the singers also does dance, so I suppose she could be consider an actress? Not sure. Anyways, Spencer Brengan, Jasmine Rose and Mavis McDounagh are all singers. In my opinion, they are talented. Then there's Sage Hart. Hes into theater, so he would be the one to go to for acting." Etros stated, thinking if there is anyone else. "I'm not sure if there are anymore, but those four are the ones I know for sure." He stated.

Jay smiled softly. "What's your favourite book series? I love the Percy Jackson series, I read it all the time." He said with a grin. His brown eyes flitted around the room, scanning for any signs of a teacher. Nothing. That was surprising; the teacher should have been here by now.

Emma laughed at him before responding, “First of all, I don’t know why you’re so surprised. Maybe I like rats.” Emma joked. “Seriously, you have me, I like you, even if you do look like you could kill a man half the time, but that’s besides the point. Honestly, if I didn’t think I liked you I wouldn’t’ve asked you to go to the dance with me.” She said. “You really didn’t answer my question either. I might be a little sad if you don’t want to go with because you think you don’t fit my expectations. You’re perfectly fine the way you are.” Emma added on. She wanted to go with him Dakota wasn’t a plan B, she genuinely felt that she would enjoy herself better if she went with him.

Emma smiled at him and then involuntary squeezed his hand at this next question, “I mean...” She stopped and looked away from him in attempt to hide how flustered she was, “I mean, god really laying on these thick questions? Um, I’m not sure... I’d like to take things slow, Y’know? We can um, try something, yeah?” She explained.
