Personality: king is the head man in charge, and he is spunky and dominating. he hates to be the 2nd in demand and cant stand children. he is peppy and prances all over the field. he has so much talent and he loves what he does. he is a jumper and his heart leaps at every fence. he is compassionate and loving with a strong heart.
History: King was imported from France by kathleen and trained partially by her, he started showing at the age of four in the children's jumpers. he was fantastic and never got worse then a 3rd. they in one year got 3 reserve champion and 8 champions 23 firsts, 31 seconds and 3 thirds. every weekend was a competition. they were known everywhere, they were in medals and classics. then as a 5 almost 6 year old he was in the adult jumpers and the hunters equitation. we found that wasn't his strong suit so kathleen just kept it at the jumpers. now to further there knowedge thney have deciced to come from Maryland to go to Heartbreak riding academy.

Appearance: Ryker has dark brown, short hair that is usually well-kept, and deep, dark brown eyes. He stands at 6'0", and has a somewhat muscular build.

Personality: Ryker is a very abrasive person. Having his trust broken several times in the past has caused him to be extremely unwilling to put his trust in anyone now, no matter how much they try to prove their worth. He's quite cold and unfriendly towards other people as well, seeming to only let his guard down when he is alone, with his horses. He keeps up a very hard outer shell otherwise, and there's little point in trying to get him to open up if you're expecting him to open up to you within a short timeframe. Ryker is also hardworking and determined - he sets his sights on what he wants, and won't let anyone get in his way, or help him. He's certain that everyone else is only out for themselves, and therefore, he is as well.

Short Bio: He grew up in a middle-class family, having just a little more than enough money to live comfortably. At the age of 10, Ryker started taking riding lessons, and quickly developed a love for horses. He also became attached to Dressage as a discipline, loving the patience and work required, especially for the results and skills it gave him. He also took part in some vaulting work, but he doesn't compete in that area - dressage is his main discipline.
He was given Bellona, a beautiful Anglo-Arabian mare, for his 13th birthday, and he broke her in for riding at the age of 15 (with help, of course). He had to take a break from riding Bellona for about a year, when he was 18, since Bellona was pregnant, and he worked other people's horses for them when they needed it instead. Bellona had a colt, named Mercury, and Ryker still, of course, owns and trains both.

Personality: Hardworking and intelligent, Bellona is a fast learner when it comes to learning new steps and directions. However, she can also be rather moody, usually for the simple reason that she's a mare - though she has never attempted to throw her rider. She can also be stubborn and protective, especially over both Ryker and Mercury, and is known to have a dislike for other horses and people on the first meeting.
Other: She doesn't take treats from other people, though she will try and swipe hay from another stable if it's in reach when she passes by.

Personality: Playful and friendly, Mercury evidently has quite a lot of energy, and clearly has potential as an endurance horse - though Ryker would rather train him for Dressage instead. He is much more open to new people and horses than Ryker and Bellona, though he can be a little shy. He works well on a lunge line, if with the tendency to buck on occasion. Mercury is also very curious, and something of an escape artist, so Ryker often has to ensure there's extra security for his stable door and paddock.
Other: He won't be broken in until he's at least 4.

She watched the paint, mustang carefully. She was zoned out of anything said to her. She silently wished Artemisia well. That was once her horse. Not the one who started her fear of course but the one who sealed the deal. "Be safe Ghost, " she whispered to the horse that was too far too hear.

Logan watched her and caught sight of the horse. He smiled some as he looked at her. “Hey. Are you okay? You ready to go for a walk?” He asked gently. He offered her a gentle smile wondering what her story was rather is. She was so beautiful. He found her rather breath taking to be completely honest. He let out a quiet sigh fixing his hat.

Harmony smiled sweetly. "Yea I'm fine. Just a pretty paint horse. A little too close to humans I'd say so maybe a past with them? Or something ties her to the farm? Yea I'm ready for that walk." She glanced back at the mare and smiled again before walking towards the barn. She looked back before calling out, "you coming?"

Logan nodded slowly. Part of him wasn’t buying it but he just smiled once more and listened to the rest of her words. He was so lost in all his thoughts that she had to call after him. How embarrassing? “What...uhh yeah. I’m coming.” He said. He raced after her and smiled. “I’d like to take you out sometime.” He said.

"Oh quiet down back there, would you?" a very disgruntled Tyler muttered, the young male referring to the banging that was coming from the three-horse gooseneck behind him. No doubt his prized stallion was just as eager to arrive as he was, and the drive to here from Alabama had not been a fun one, the two were met with traffic and long hours and now all Tyler wanted was something to eat and to sleep. The coffee he had picked up from a Dunkin Donuts some four hours ago had done little in the means of keeping him energized, but his red, tired eyes still shone. This was his chance to make it big, to show the world what he could do, an opportunity he'd never have back home. Of course, he didn't need anyone to tell him what a great rider he was, he already knew it himself, but he wouldn't mind having a few others know it as well.

"The destination is on your left," said the GPS. Tyler's hands gripped the steering wheel until his knuckles turned white. Here it was. He took a deep breath and turned down the designated driveway. As he neared the stable yard, he realized he wasn't alone, that others were arriving as well. He found an empty spot to park, and killed the engine. "Okay Jupiter, please don't try anything stupid," he mumbled under his breath as he got out and made his wave over to the back of the trailer. So, he was still in the trailer, that was a good start. Tyler clipped the lead rope on Jupiter's halter, which had a stud chain just in case he tried any of his antics, and he slowly backed the chestnut out of the trailer. Jupiter's nostrils flared and his ears went in all directions as he took in everything new. Tyler spotted an empty paddock, he had figured his best bet was to throw Jupiter in a paddock and let him get all his energy out for now. He led the frisky stallion into the paddock and slipped the halter off his head, then ducked out before he took off in a bucking fit. "Crazy thing," he chuckled, hanging the halter up and returning to his trailer to unload his belongings, hoping the stud would still be in one piece when he returned.

Isolated away from the other vehicles and trailers was an old beat up Toyota that looked as if it was straight out of the scrapyard. Inside sat a young man, decked out with sunglasses and a St. Louis Cardinals cap, a team he really wasn't even that fond of. It was the typical "I don't want to talk to you, leave me alone," outfit Daniel seemed to wear wherever he went. The radio inside the idling car was turned up as the man scanned his surroundings, working up the courage to get out. Yesterday, he had been one of the first to arrive, and the stables had looked practically deserted, only a few horses and their riders here and there. Now, it was bustling with activity as the new arrivals rushed around to settle in their horses. The only reason he planned on ever coming to the barn was to ride and check on his horses, and in all honesty, he didn't want to even be here at all. "I think this will be a good chance for you to better yourself as a jockey," his mother had explained to him one night. Ha, what a joke. What she really wanted was to get him out of the house and off the streets, to "keep him safe". Daniel knew how to defend himself, and he had in the past. Her goal was to keep him out of jail, a place he had become familiar with over the last few years for small crimes, such as theft. How the hell he even got accepted here, he still had no idea. After a few more moments, he finally stepped foot out of the car, pulling his cap further down on his head and shoving his hands into his pockets. The way he saw it, if no one messed with him he wouldn't mess with anyone else, but only time would tell if this was the truth. He entered the stables and began walking over to Kizzie's stall, shooting cold stares to everyone who even made eye contact with him. The gray mare registered as "Kissin inthe Moonlight", Danny had picked her up from a local racing barn who had deemed her too slow to race. No, she wasn't the fastest mare in the world and she didn't have the best personality, but for just a few hundred bucks you couldn't go wrong. It seemed she had settled in nicely so far, so he moved on down to Eddy's stall. The seal bay stallion wasn't necessarily his, he had been given to Daniel for him to train and ride. He stood by Eddy's stall for a bit, watching him munch away on his hay, today he felt like taking him out, maybe all he needed was a quick lap around the track. Ironically, riding a fiery thoroughbred twenty miles an hour counter-clockwise down a track was where he felt secure and safe, a feeling he didn't get anywhere else.

Harmony blushed. "Sounds nice," she said. Every thought of how she hoped he wouldn't find out she was terrified to ride covered up her hammering heartbeat. "So where do you want to see first? The barn? The arenas? The woods and it's trails?"

As he pulled up and parked his trailer, Ryker realised that he certainly wasn't the first one to arrive. With a scowl, as it meant there would be more people to deal with than if he'd arrived earlier, Ryker stepped out of his vehicle, and went to get his gear, such as tack and the like, first. Bellona and Mercury could wait - it would take longer to get them settled in first, and he knew that they'd be okay in the trailer for an extra fifteen to twenty minutes.
After he'd found his allocated place to store the tack and other equipment for his horses, Ryker went back to his trailer, to get out his horses.
Bellona and Mercury were mother and son, and both beautiful Anglo-Arabians - perfect for dressage, and other endurance events. Though he only wanted to focus on Dressage with them. He did not like the idea of anything else.

The two horses had headcollars on them already, so he just attached a leadrope to each headcollar and brought them down the ramp one at a time. After locking up, he led the two towards the barn, to take Bellona and Mercury to their stables. As he walked, he accidentally made eye contact with another young man that had given him a cold stare, which Ryker returned with a glower. He wasn't the only one that could give off 'leave me alone' vibes.
