River smiled widely and bowed a bit. "thank you good sir." she laughed a bit and walked out the door. "we could take out one or two of the wolf pups." she walked toward the wolf enclosure. "Keith already checked them out and gave them the shots they need so they can finally come out."

KJ grinned as Iris spoke, pleased that she seemed to be getting into the talk. And the group of visitors seemed to be interested as well, with a couple of them letting out quiet gasps as the python was fed. It was, to him, always a pleasure to see visitors engaging well with the talks, and really listening to them.
"Thank you for that Iris. If anyone has any questions about Hiss, or any of our other reptiles, then ask either me or Iris at the end of the tour. Now we'll be taking a look at our Pancake Tortoises. We currently have three of them, and a few eggs that are waiting to hatch." KJ led the group to the large tank with the tortoises in, then he opened the top of it and reached in to carefully pick one of them up, to let the group see a little better.

Nathan continued with his job, as he usually did. He was concerned about Ollie, but he wasn't going to let it affect his work. If anything, the dolphin had survived far longer than expected so though it may be a harsh thought, he wondered if it would soon be time for him. Nathan shook his head slightly, and then he soon spotted the intern that Eliza had been looking for, Issac, who seemed to be just wandering around. Nathan narrowed his eyes slightly, because it seemed like the intern wasn't too bothered about his job.
He approached Issac, and said, bluntly, "Issac. There you are. Eliza has been looking for you, she's over at the Dolphin Tank. I suggest you make your way over there immediately."

Shutting the door behind both of them and quickly checking to make sure it was closed all the way, Edgar picked up the conversation once more. “That’s great! I’m excited to see how they are.” He followed her, falling in to step next to her — reading lips was much easier to do without someone having to crane their neck to see clearly. “Speaking of pups, one of the dingos is pregnant. One of the vet staff told me.”

Iris hung back, but still moved with the group to some degree. Nobody seemed to be asking her questions and she was thankful- She preferred to just watch the groups and not get involved.

Keith walkrd out of the vet office with a bag and a pair of gloves in his hand. He walked toward the canine exhibits. He had to give the foxes a monthly check. He walked through the employees only gate at the canine exhibit and walked toward the foxes. He decided he would start on the red foxes.

She walked into the room aside from the wolf enclosure and looked over st the pups who were bouncing around with each other. She put on a pair of gloves so they didn't bite get and shexidnt get sick from them. She picked up a reddish-grey looking pup and held him as she turned to Edgar a bit dramatically similar to when he opened the door. "meet Baldur."

Eliza sighed, already she was having a rough day as she sat in her office. She had just sent Isaac out to actually start his job, she gave him his last warning before he lost his internship. The vet was running tests on Ollie and they wouldn't know the results until the next day. Slowly the brunette lay her head on her desk and closed her eyes, releasing a frustrated sigh. She didn't know how much longer she would be able to deal with the stress of the day, she was already getting a migraine.

He showed the group the pancake tortoise, and he caught sight of Iris at the back of the group, which surprised him. He would have thought that she would have gone off to do something else, instead of staying with the group. He refocused. "Pancake tortoises are native to Kenya and Tanzania. As you can see, their shells are much flatter than other tortoise shells, and their shell bones have many openings - unlike other tortoise shell bones, which are solid - meaning that they are lighter and more agile. They can also fit themselves into rocky crevices to hide from predators, something that no other tortoise is able to do." KJ spoke to the group. Then, he offered the visitors the chance to touch the tortoise's shell, taking care as he held the reptile.

Before long, another Marine Worker arrived at the Touch Tank area, to help Nathan out, and give him the chance to actually go on break. With a quiet 'thank you', Nathan walked off, intending on going to the offices, where he'd be able to sit away from the main hustle and bustle of the zoo and visitors. He loved working here, yes, but that didn't mean he was willing to work a full shift without being given a break. First, though, he did make a quick diversion to the Dolphin Tank, where he watched one of the vets for a few moments, and noticed that Eliza was not around - one of the vets suggested that she might be in her office.
At the offices, he walked up to Eliza's office door, and knocked on the door a couple of times, before carefully opening it. Though he wouldn't openly admit it, he was also a little worried about Ollie, and he figured that it wouldn't hurt to give something of a comforting gesture. "One of the interns got you a coffee." Nathan said, gesturing to the coffee cup that he was holding.

Iris got a bit distracted here and there but for the most part stuck to the tour; deciding to see it through to the end. She was done what she had to do and didn't feel like heading off to break early, or wandering around the rest of the establishment. There were too many people and a lower employee to customer ratio.

“He’s such a handsome boy,” Edgar chuckled. “That’s, what, Norse mythology isn’t it? Or maybe it’s one of the dwarves in The Hobbit. Regardless, I think I recall that name from somewhere.” He procured his own set of gloves and worked his way into them, wiggling his fingers about until they were comfortable. “With gloves on I feel like I can’t speak as well,” he made a comical face, exaggerating his features to appear quite distraught. “It’s like talking with your mouth full.”
Smiling a little at his own joke, Edgar picked up another pup carefully. He examined her — it was a her, he noted — briefly just to make sure the little fur ball was doing alright before he cradled her closer to his chest. Couldn’t have her wiggle her way out of his arms and get hurt, and wiggly she was.
