River smiled at him, she always forgets hes hard of hesring. She took time on her off hours to learn sign language. She spoke to him using some sign language for certain words but she had to skipothets due to not kbowing them. She knew Edgar would appreciate her doing this. "so far so good, in a bit do you want to go out and start a group to edcuate them on the wolves?"

Eliza looked around for one of the interns as she walked back to the dolphin tank. He hadn't showed up yet and he was supposed to be giving tours today. With a huff the young woman walked towards the touch tanks to see if maybe one of the other workers had seen him. "Nathan." Eliza called out as to not surprise the man. She walked up to him before asking her question. "Have you seen Isaac, the intern, today at all? I can't find him and he is supposed to be giving tours. I am supposed to work with the dolphins, but can give the tours if I need too." she said slightly frustrated that he hadn't showed up yet.

Iris rocked back on her heels a bit as the last people moved on before glancing over at KJ. "I'm gonna go thaw a mouse out then, if you wanna meet me back in the building with the group" She said, taking a step back. She was more than happy to bounce back into the building that housed the majority of their small reptiles; it usually wasn't too busy and she liked it in there.

KJ nodded toward her. "Alright, then. I'll just do a couple of rounds to the other animals first, to check on them, then I'll be right there." He said, since a quick glance at his watch told him it wasn't quite time for the next tour group. He didn't mind, though - he always liked to check in on the other reptiles. He waved towards her, then started walking off.
First, after quickly glancing at the Komodo Dragon, he went to the Galapagos Tortoises enclosure, where there were a couple of them sunbathing, then a little further on to the Sunda Gharial crocodile exhibit. Next, he moved onto the Reptile House, where he checked on the Leopard Geckos, Natal Dwarf Chameleon, Pancake Tortoises, the Taiwan Beauty Snake, Axolotls, Blue Poison Dart Frogs, and most of the various other reptiles within it.
Finally, he went to go and meet his tour group. He greeted them warmly, then said, "To start off, we're going to watch the feeding of our Green Tree Python!" he announced, then he walked the group - made up of about 12 to 15 people - to the Green Tree Python tank.

Nathan was showing another group of people how to use the touch tank - and was rather enjoying making use of it himself, since he loved the stingrays, and it seemed that they were rather fond of him as well - when he heard one of his co-workers, Eliza, call out his name. He moved his hand from the touch tank and turned around to face her. Hearing her question - and quickly stepping off to sanitize his hands - he frowned slightly, in confusion. Who was Issac..? He tried to remember, wondering if he'd even been introduced to him. Then, he soon remembered that Issac was a new intern - and likely an annoying one, if Eliza couldn't find him. He hated it when other people didn't show up to their jobs on time. Nathan shook his head. "No, I haven't, sorry," he replied, "I've been in here since I started my shift." He glanced around for a moment, as if to check that the intern wasn't there now, then he looked back towards Eliza. "But if I see him, I can send him your way - the Dolphin tank, right?'

Iris was glad for the front-opening vivarium when it came to feeding some snakes; the python being one of them. It was a tall enclosure, but he was at about eye-level, coiled on one of the artificial branches. Iris watched the group, and listened to KJ speak, waiting for her turn very patiently.

Eliza sighed and shook her head. "Yes please. I think I am just going to put one of the other interns on tours until we find him," she muttered as she looked down at the rays swimming around the pool. "I have to check Ollie, he hasn't been acting right lately so I am going to see if he is just being stubborn or of there is something wrong." she said as she turned to walk out of the touch tank area thinking of the older dolphin. She was really hoping Isaac would show up soon so she wouldn't have to deal with paperwork.

“That would be great,” he nodded a bit. “When I went by earlier they were sleeping. Hopefully,” he stood and checked to make sure he had everything, “they’ll put on a little bit of a show for us. Kids love the wolves.” Moving to the door, Edgar held it open for River and gestured dramatically for her to go through while he smiled comically.

The group arrived at the python's vivarium. KJ stepped up onto a raised platform, to speak. "This is Iris," he pointed towards her, "she'll be feeding our tree python, and giving us a little more information about him!" KJ nodded towards her, indicating for her to start. He hoped the introduction was good enough, since it wasn't often that he included a feeding into the tour groups. He hoped that this would also mean that visitors would be more willing to ask Iris and other co-workers questions, instead of directing them all towards him - it could get overwhelming, having to answer six different questions within a few minutes.

Nathan nodded slightly in agreement. "That'll probably be best... as to not keep the tour groups waiting too much longer." He responded. He tilted his head to one side slightly, a little concerned, though he said, "I'm sure he's fine. Though it might be worth getting one of the vets to check on him if you're still worried." Nathan paused for a moment, then added, "I'd offer to help, but I'm the only one working in this part... and I don't trust the visitors to not get themselves stung." He then excused himself to go and instruct another family that had walked into the area, showing them how to properly use the touch tank, and stroke the stingrays.

Eliza found one of the other interns and got them to do the tours until Isaac showed up. With a huff she walked towards one of the dolphin tanks. Ollie was the oldest bottlenose dolphin they had at 36 years of age and she knew he only had a few years left. Eliza stood at the top of the enclosure and looked for Ollie, noticing him away from the others. She let out a sigh noticing he was slowly swimming away from the others and ignoring the fish she tossed to the others. The brunette released a stressed sigh as she pulled her walkie talkie from her waist. "Could I have a vet come down to the bottlenose dolphin enclosure, something's up with Ollie," she asked through the walkie as she sat at the edge of the pool, pet ring the dolphins as they swam by.

Iris took a deep breath before speaking. "This is Hiss, our Green Tree Python- His species is native to Australia and New Guinea, and are an almost entirely arboreal species, meaning they live in trees almost exclusively. When they do come down on occasion, it is typically to hunt ground-dwelling rodents. They also eat other arboreal species, such as lizards and birds. They are non-venomous, and hunt using a very interesting method of luring their food to them. They sit very still on a branch and dangle their tail. When the prey, curious about the wiggling tail, gets close enough, they strike. They can also actively hunt their prey. They also have thermosensory pits that aid in catching warm-blooded prey. In captivity, however, they are fed thawed frozen mice" She concluded. He was in a better mood and was quick to take the mouse, and made short work of it. He was on the larger end, fully grown and a healthy weight.
