Addison was not excited for this trip. She was a nervous wreck, and of all days to have a bad hair day, today was one of the worst. Her and a few other students had been chosen to attend a field trip to a (so called) haunted manor. That part made her insides shrink a bit, and she felt her cheeks go a bit green. She wasn't big on scary things. At least she knew she would have one good friend there, Zane. He always had her back, and she would for sure be thankful for that today.

As she stepped off of the bus, Addison's palms began to sweat. She spotted Zane and walked beside him, smiling up at the much taller boy. As he questioned her, she just playfully glared at him and rolled her eyes. "Not in the slightest. You think I want to possibly have to sleep in a dorm with Alex or someone?" She said with a huff. She pulled a stray strand of hair behind her ear. As Zane began making a scene, she felt her jaw drop slightly as he got the person in charge to agree with hot chocolate. "You little-" She was cut off as a sheet of paper was shoved into her face. She blew it out of her face and huffed, narrowing her eyes at the person who handed it out. Addison looked it over.

Of course, it was the dorm assignments.

And of course, she was paired with Alex, the ONE person she brought up not wanting to be paired with.

Addison groaned and looked over at Zane. She sighed and passed a hand down her face, though she flipped the paper over. She felt her heart skip a beat and she stood up straighter. It was the Valentines pairings. She scanned the list for her name and bit her lip, her brows shooting up a bit. Grayson? She was paired with Grayson? Addison felt her lips curl into a smile, though she knew she had to get to her dorm. She looked at Zane and shook her head, poking his cheek. "Stay out of trouble, kid." She mused with a wave before walking inside.

As Addison entered her dorm room, she couldn't help but smile. It really was pretty. She snagged a bed and tossed her stuff next to it, sitting down to just catch her breath. She was still shocked about being paired with Grayson. Hmm.

Niall looked up as he saw Jesse and smiled, nodding. He pulled his earbuds out of his ears and tenderly wrapped them up. He blew a strand of curly hair from in front of his eyes and walked over to the couch. He sat down beside Jesse, about to speak to the girl when he saw the door open. Niall waved to Shiro as he entered. "Not sure who would have missed you, really." He said, though it was obvious from the smile on his lips he was joking.

As he questioned about where the others were, Niall shrugged. He hadn't really noticed the lack of people. He wasn't upset about it, that was for sure. He passed a hand through his hair and looked over at Jesse. "Do you have anyone you know in here?" He asked the girl. He had never really spoken to her before now, though she seemed friendly enough. He brought his gaze back to Shiro and gave him a more serious-but-not smile. Shiro had always intimidated him. Well, maybe not Shiro. More his relation to Chase, someone who he liked, but also someone he knew better than to mess with. Niall then looked back at the television in front of him, shocked it even still worked.

For a place who couldn't even keep it's stairs up to date, it sure had good electronics.

Alex listened to Henry speaking, nodding along, accepting and agreeing with Henry's opinions. Henry really was so cute when he got excited. "No, you're not bothersome. It's fun to talk to other people who also like k-dramas," Alex told him, smiling. Henry seemed like he would be a good friend. This trip wouldn't be too bad if Alex could hang out with Henry.

In response to the question, Alex said, "Oh, I have Kyleigh, which isn't bad. She seems pretty nice, and I think we can go as friends or acquaintances. I'm not really romantically interested in her though, or in any other girl, actually. For Samantha, I don't really know her, since I have zero friends as of now, but from what I've heard she's okay." He muttered his admittance to not liking girls quietly, because he didn't know how Henry would react, and Alex figured that if he said it quietly, then if Henry reacted badly, he could just play it off as a joke. If that made any sense.

Alex was going to say something else, but it slipped from his mind as he let out a small gasp, noticing a bunny's head sticking out from Henry's pocket. "Is that your bunny? The animal was so adorable, but not as adorable as Henry because Alex thought of Henry one of the cutest people alive, despite only knowing him for a bit. and putting a bunny in his pocket seemed like something Henry would do.

→ emily started to become slightly nervous as her dorm mates arrived. she offered each a wave and a smile as she set up her space on the bottom bunk. soon enough, her little area looked like home with its familiar pillowcases and a few taped up photos of her favorite hiking adventures. she slid her bag underneath the bed and pulled her earbuds out of her pocket. some music would help her calm down. she scrolled through her spotify for a few moments before simply resuming her car ride playlist from the trip over. she wanted desperately to put on her hiking playlist and head out into the forest, but she didn't want to go alone either, since she couldn't plot out her route like per usual.

Luckily, Alyssa had found her way to dorm 5 with little to no problems, besides the occasional shivers she'd get when thinking about this trip. A haunted house wasn't exactly her idea of a trip location meant for a valentine event. The young girl gingerly opened the door, noting that another girl, Addison, was already inside and had claimed a bed. "Oh, hi," Alyssa greeted, stepping inside the room. The two of them had never spoken, so the outcast was unsure of how to go about this. Best not to bother her too much. "You're Addison, right? I'm Alyssa, she greeted, giving her a friendly smile as she walked over to one of the spare beds.

She set her bag on the bed, smoothing her sweater down before she got to unpacking. She glanced at what was inside; clothes, snacks, toiletries, a folder with her music for choir, that kind of stuff. Maybe once she was done, she could go mingle with some of the other students, or text her parents to let them know that everything was fine for now.

Addison noticed another girl walk in, hoping it would be Lucy or Samantha, heck, even Jesse. She was a bit let down when she saw it was only Alyssa. She had never really spoken to the girl, though even now, she seemed so quiet. Addison offered a tight-lipped smile, her brows slightly furrowed. "So, what do you think about this so-called haunted house?" She questioned Alyssa with a tilt of her head. Addison looked back at her phone, though she didn't want to be rude and decided it would be best to set it down. Addison wondered if Shiro was having fun, or if Zane was thinking about her. She knew Jackson must already be in some type of trouble.

As her thoughts of the troublesome boy subsided, her eyes were more focused on Alyssa's face. She offered a more sincere smile this time. "I, for one, just hope that nothing too scary happens." She admitted with a laugh, knowing that she might sound crazy to Alyssa. Most people knew of her fears when it came to that of the paranormal. She really was the opposite of the Ghostbusters theme song: She was only afraid of ghosts. Well, and spiders.

jesse looked back at niall then looked down to her dorm list. "hmm, i don't think i know any of them. heh. oh! wait, i just realized i am the only cheerleader here!" she chuckled at her realization. jesse did know the people in her dorm, just not very well. she looked back at the large window, seeing the large forest and lake. more specifically, the lake called her name. but she thought she should wait, after all. they just got here and need some time to settle in.

xxxxlucas greeted daniel with a nod of his head, offering him a soft smile as he turned towards pierce once again, who had lit up almost immediately at the mention of tea. he couldn't help but smile at his friend's enthusiasm about the beverage, even though he himself wasn't entirely fond of the drink, himself. he didn't mind it, honestly-- his favorite tea was chamomile tea, if it came down to drinking it --but he preferred coffee over it. though, nonetheless, he really did find amusement in his friend's quick response to daniel's offer about getting tea after settling in. he bobbed his head up and down after pierce had exclaimed a quick thanks in reagan's-- someone he found interesting, honestly cute, even --direction as the other had offered to take pierce's bags to the room.
xxxxthe brunet smiled fondly as pierce had spoken to the fawn. it was quite adorable to see him speaking to the animal, who didn't really seem to register anything that was coming from his mouth, with such a soft tone. his eyes drifted towards the fawn, who was now wobbling on all four legs. it seemed like it wasn't too comfortable with walking quite yet, which had ultimately meant that it couldn't have been too old, or had simply gotten a rush after standing up. he didn't know how a deer's body worked-- so, whether or not it was still very, very young was something he wasn't entirely sure of. lucas couldn't help but smile as the fawn turned to look at it's mother, but still staggered in it's place as it seemed to try and find it's own footing. he watched as the fawn bounded back towards the doe, lips sealed as a corner was turned upwards in a soft smirk. fawns were definitely adorable.
xxxxwhen pierce had stood up, and offered his hand, lucas took it in his own without hesitation and pulled himself to his feet, brushing his hands off on his thighs. lifting his head, he looked at his friend with little emotion on his features-- and eventually smiled in return to what pierce had said. pierce was right-- he preferred coffee over tea, and the fact that he had remembered that little thing, was something he was happy about-- even though pierce was quite possibly his closest friend at the time. shaking his head, lucas fiddled with the hair tie on his wrist before he lifted his hands back and leaned his head back. combing a hand through his hair, he grouped it in his hands before tying it back with the hair tie. a few locks of hair fell from the pony-tail, and framed his face as he shifted his head back forward. he gripped the lock of hair between his index and middle finger, and brushed it back behind his ear before he chuckled softly. even he had to admit, he was hungry-- and was hoping that it wouldn't be too long before they would actually be able to eat.
xxxxlucas turned his head towards pierce at his inaudible mumble, and he tilted his head, "you good?" he asked, arching an eyebrow as he shifted the bag on his shoulders. he didn't know, or was even able to pinpoint, what it was that had caused pierce to mumble things under his breath, and leave him with a concerned look on his face. switching his other two hair ties from his left wrist onto his right wrist, lucas glanced at the ground for a moment before he looked back at his friend.

xxxxindigo neatly folded the paper and slipped it in her back pocket beneath her phone, and then gripped the straps of her black, converse bag. she didn't bring much, really just tissues, a pair of pajamas, a change of clothes for the next day, the soft blue blanket that apollo had given her just the day before, her tooth brush, toothpaste, mouthwash, and hairbrush. other than that, she really didn't bring anything other than a box of pockey's and banana milk, the banana milk being in an insulated lunch box with a couple ice packs. she would have brought her cat, but she knew that wouldn't have ended well for anyone, especially not her. besides, it was one night-- she would return to her cat the next day, cuddle with him, and then go play around with lucas's borzois.
xxxxshe walked inside of the mansion after a majority of the people entered it, and was at an immediate awe when she entered. it was huge-- though she didn't expect much else --and despite being "abandoned" and "haunted" was in great shape. honestly, she would gladly live there had she been given the choice to. perhaps, if someone-- as well as apollo --were to accompany her. a soft smile was placed on her lips as she adjusted the back on her shoulder, and walked forward, eyes scanning the large area as she both searched for the place she assumed her room would be, or any other familiar faces. she had seen zane straying off in the direction she presumed was his own room. shrugging her shoulders, she headed down a hall, and continued on her just started search for the place she would be staying for the night.
xxxxafter a few minutes of searching-- though she really didn't do much of it, a majority of the time was spent exploring more than anything --she came across the room she was assigned, along with alexander, alyssa, addison, and samantha. opening the door carefully, she saw that two of the other four were already inside, and she offered them both a soft smile as she walked further into the room and walked over towards one of the unoccupied beds. dipping her head, indigo slipped her bag off of her shoulders, and gently set it on the bed, unzipping it and pulling out the soft blue blanket before zipping it up once again, and setting it on the floor as she folded the blanket a little neater and set it on the bed with an inaudible sigh.

surprise!!!The two girls seemed to find enjoyment in giving Reagan a hard time. Even so, he couldn't help but laugh, shaking his head and shouldering all the bags he carried. "Ha-ha, very funny," He responded sarcastically with his bright smile still evident in his voice. He entered the mansion with the pair, immediately allowing his gaze to take in the interior design. It was impressive, to say the least, and certainly very large. He'd always wanted to stay in a big house overnight. Bonus points if it was supposedly haunted. This day continued to just get better and better for him. He glanced to the side and gently nudged Alexis to get her attention. "Luciana sure made herself known right away, huh?" A playful gleam danced in his eyes as he brought about the topic of the rather brash cheerleader. He was quite aware of Alexis's dislike towards her, and even though he inwardly felt pity for her, he was also amused by the fact that she'd had the luck of ending up in the same dorm as her. He, personally, thought that Luciana was just a little ray of sunshine, but then again, he saw the good in just about everyone's antics. "Don't worry. I won't let her bother you too much."
surprise!!!While in the process of searching around for the dorm they were supposed to be staying in, Reagan's eyes fell upon two individuals he almost didn't expect to be interacting: Henry and Alexander. He stared at them for a few moments, blinking rapidly at the sight of them together, but then quickly realized how weird he must have looked and plastered on a smile, offering the two boys a friendly wave. At that moment, the sound of a door just up ahead of him slamming shut caught his attention. The door that just happened to have a big, shiny, golden '1.' That must have been their dorm -- the one that he just saw Luciana enter by herself. Oh, God. Nothing good could come out of this situation. Surely enough, the moment he stepped up and tried the door, it was locked from the other side.
surprise!!!"Luci, sweetheart?" His voice was a hum as he stood just outside the door, arching an eyebrow with a soft smirk playing on his features. "Could you open up? I have a lot of bags." He paused for a moment, thinking of something else he could say that would possibly convince her to let them in. "... I packed a few sticks of gum. You can have one if you let us in."
surprise!!!An unfamiliar sound captured Reagan's attention immediately after he'd finished speaking. For a moment, he thought it may have been Luciana getting up to let them in, but he realized that it was definitely on his side of the door. And it was very close to him. Just over his shoulder, in fact. A weird snuffling and growling sound, with one of the bags he carried suddenly moving. It was... alive? He blinked rapidly in confusion, looking over his shoulder at Pierce's bag. "The hell..."

↣ alexis was examining all the details of the house, it wasn’t as bad as she’d thought. the girl herself wasn’t that fond of old style, but she sure could see how someone would love it.

alexis turned her attention off the house back to reagan when she felt a nudge. the mention of luciana alone had alexis let out a sigh and make her roll her eyes. ”she sure did...” she shook her head slightly, in a stressed manner. she’d definitely have a headache for the whole trip by staying in the same room as the blonde cheerleader.

hearing reagan’s next words made her tilt her head, she appreciated the thought, but keeping that promise wasn’t that easy to keep.

a sound of a door being shut made alexis divert her attention over. someone sure was angry already, just a few minutes after arriving. alexis didn’t think too much of this, before actually seeing the number on the door. all she could think of was luciana, which made her bite her lip in pure annoyance and anger.

seeing reagan try the door proved her assumptions right and thay made her even angrier. alexis was amazed at how nice and calm reagan still was, it seemed impossible for this guy to be angry. alexis wasn’t having any of it though.

”i swear to god, luciana! open the door or i’ll bust it down and make you sleep in the forest!” alexis yelled with a few bangs on the door. ”i also packed something - my fists...” she mumbled under her breath. now she could clearly see how someone could be angry right after arriving.

the small sounds coming from reagan’s direction didn’t catch alexis’ attention, until he himself seemed bother by them. the girl turned to see what the small sounds were, when she saw his bag... moving? she had to stare for a moment to be really sure. ”did you bring your pet?” she asked quietly, in confusion.

↣ kian heard chase talking to herself, or more specifically, to a spider. it sure was huge and kian couldn’t help but feel more uncomfortable than before.

seeing jackson and chase with their energy drinks made kian shake his head. they would regret that, or maybe he’d regret that for them. the two were already energetic and this would only add more to it.

the boy let out a sigh as he realised that with the spiders and a normally hyper jackson, who’d also chugged down an energy drink, he wouldn’t be able to catch a wink of sleep. it wouldn’t hurt to have at least a small amount of the energy the two others had. ”hey, mind throwing me one?” kian asked chase with a warm smile on his face.

As he heard from Alexanderthat he wasn't bothersome his face flashed a wide smile that showed off his white teeth. " I agree." He hummed, " I mean talkign about k-dramas, not about me not being bothersome." He said quickly and quietly with his cheeks turning pink again from the embarassment.

When Alex mentioned Kyleigh, Henry opened his mouth in an 'o' shape. "She'd nice, I guess you could probably call her my friend." He hummed, " O, I'm probably gonna go with Samantha as friends or acquaintances as well... since I don't really know her." He started with a smile. " O really? That's nice," He said with a bright grin, " For me it doesn't really matter if it's a boy or a girl." He murmured under his breath. "You don't have friends?" Asked the brown haired boy in astonishment, "Let's be friends then." He exclaimed as he tited his head to the side, " If you want of course, I mean I don't mind if you don't. Since we don't know each other that long. Well, I won't mind either way." He started rambling again, he wanted to slap himself for doing that, but of course he wouldn't do that in front of Alexander, or anyone, really.

When Henry heard a gasp he started looking around, soon after noticing the reason for it- Bun's head was sticking out. He internally face palmed himself for being so ignorant. However he couldn't help but think that Alex's reaction was adorable, but he'd never admit it. " No, I stole it." He said, a plain and a clearly visible lie as a blush crept on his face. "Okay ,it's mine, but don't tell the teachers, I couldn't leave him at home." he whispered under his breath as he started looking around to see if anyone was there- if anyone noticed the bunny. He noticed Reagan waving at them, hopefully he didn't manage to see anything. Henry waved as well, but it was a very small and shy wave. He then looked back at Alex and said " Do you like bunnies?" after the simple question he added: " His name is bun, I wouldtake him out to show him to you, but I don't want to risk the teacher noticing him."
