The Mamba headquarters was one of Addy's favorite places. It was dark and quiet and the perfect hideout for a group like his. Unassuming yet suspicious. He raked a hand through his stringy black hair as he passed through the rusty doors and into the main lobby. It had tan floors that had taken on a black surface after so many years of neglect. Two ratty sofas had been put on either wall, complete with pillows and a stack of blankets if you couldn't make it to your room. He stopped to give it a good look, grinning to himself. "Home sweet home." He muttered and continued on down the main hallway.
He had just turned a corner when he smacked straight into someone. "Watch it!" He snapped down at the person, ready to make them regret it, but that faded slightly when he found himself staring at Joan. The lone recruit had been working hard to prove herself despite the harshness and he had to give her some credit. Now she looked miserable. Addison smirked and crossed his hands over his chest. "What's the matter, little mouse?" It was snake humor. He was the snake, she was the mouse. Funny. He leaned against the wall, crossing his ankles. "Having some trouble?"
