(ahhhh i wasn't playing on chicken smoothie yesterday i missed a lot)

Celeste was the only one that wasn't probably getting used to Summer Camp. She didn't like talking to anybody, as if they cared. She was in her cabin, just reading a book. Maybe she should try getting friends? Maybe. But that could be too hard.

She walked with Cody, still holding his hand. " I found a large spot full of plants! They have everything from Alfalfa to Zinc! Sure, Zinc is a mineral but it is in a lot of food. But you have to be careful Cody, there is a lot of thorns and pokey things. Also watch out for the bees. " Alyssa informed him as they walked right to it. She grinned and let go of his hand. " Ta da! " She said. There were plants everywhere. " Do you like it? "

Smart girl. Cody kept pace with her easily as she led him to the spot she'd found, happy to let her ramble about whatever she felt like talking about. When she finally released his hand as they apparently arrived, he smiled once more. "I do! This is really cool," he walked a careful step before crouching down next to one of the first plants he saw, "do you know what this one is? Can you tell me about it?"

" CODY! " She yells when he asks what the plant was. Alyssa runs and pushes him away, making him fall and she sits on him. She looks at him seriously. She lets out a sigh of relief. " You could have gotten badly hurt! Don't get close to any plants that you haven't asked me of first. That was Hogweed! If you touched the sap on the leaves you would have come in contact with chemicals that would have caused blisters if the spot on you that touched the plant was exposed to sunlight. " She rambles on. She gets off of him and and crosses her arms. " We should go back... I don't trust you around plants. " Alyssa giggled. " What should we do when we get back? " She asks, grabbing his hand once again and starts to walk.

There was a reason he hadn't actually touched any of the plants- he knew just enough to know to be careful around a lot of them- but that was certainly more of a reaction than he'd been expecting and it was a struggle to hold in his laughter as she scolded him. There was a large bruise on his shoulder that had been jolted when he was knocked down but the pain never reached his face- staying in his eyes. Instead he simply gave a very serious nod as the scolding ended. "Of course, that was foolish of me." He stated, standing once more when he was finally allowed to. "I'll defer to you for all plants from now on." Cody allowed himself to be led once more. "What do you want to do?"

" Well... I brought a few books but that's it so I don't mind what we do. You can choose. " She grins at him. Alyssa really was up for anything because this is the first time she felt happy at a summer camp. She had finally made a friend, a nice friend. " Sorry for pushing you down... I just didn't want you to get hurt. I hope I didn't hurt you pushing you down." She looked at him sympathetically.

"I'm fine," he promised her quickly with a small smile. "Nothing to worry about! Do you want to show me your books? I didn't bring that much either, and I don't really know what's around." He didn't actually know if the camp had an internet connection, so while he had his laptop with him he didn't know how much use it would be beyond maybe playing a few games. He'd really only brought it so that he wasn't.... well... leaving it. His stepmother didn't actually know he had one at all, and he certainly didn't expect his father to defend him even if he'd been the one to buy it.

" Oh sure! " She grins. As the reach the cabin, she goes over to the bed she had left her belongings on. " Where is your bed? " Alyssa questioned. She zipped open her bag and pulls out the stack of books she brought. " I brought mostly plant books, but maybe you would like the dinosaur ones I brought? I also brought... " She looked at her books and quickly hid the advanced books, hoping he hadn't seen them. " Well you can choose what you want to read." She tells him.

"Closest to the door," Cody told her at the question of his bed, choosing to ignore the books she clearly had tried to hide. If she wanted to she'd bring them up on her own, it wasn't exactly his place to pry. Instead he placed a finger on one of the plant books. "Why don't you tell me about different plants?" He asked with a small chuckle, "have to make sure I'm safe when you're not around, huh?"
