Ella was awoken by the bright sunlight. She slept on the dock the whole night. She did not sleep very well though. She heard wolves howling and rustling in bushes the whole night, which creeped her out but she didn't go sleep in the lodge. She sat up and turned around to look at the water. 'Ah how beautiful! I'm so lucky that I can wake up and see the gorgeous lake!' She loved it here at camp and she never wanted to leave.

After she had gotten ready for the day, she looked out the window. It was slightly dark outside, but the sun was rising. There was also a shadow outside, and she went to investigate.
She didn’t know who or what she was expecting, but she was surprised to see that it was a person out there. She guessed that it was a campmate, considering he was outside the cabin. She didn’t really know most of her campmates, so she consider talking to him.
But do I want to interrupt the silence out here? It’s nice. Maybe I’ll go back in.
Well I’m out here anyways, and he probably saw me anyways..
She continued to awkwardly stand there, arguing with herself. She stood in the shadows however, hoping she wouldn’t been seen. But the rising sun eventually fell on her, making her visible.

Aurora's eyes slowly fluttered open, she yawned and got up. She stretched a bit then got some clothes out of her bag, she put on Maroon short shorts with a white flowy Cami and maroon flip flops. She walked downstairs to grab some breakfast, she made a waffle and topped it with strawberries and bananas. She wanted to get Nick but decided to let him sleep as long as he could.

Cody had actually heard the door open behind him- he'd been in the habit of being hyper-aware of his surroundings when he was alone for most of his life- but hadn't really reacted to it. Instead he stayed where he was for a while, knees pulled up under his chin as the sun started to rise. When he finally spoke his voice was quiet, barely a whisper, "You... don't have to just stand there, you know."

Nick awoke to the smell of waffles. He yawned and sat up, then he remembered the night before and blushed. He was really regretting not bringing any extra clothes on the canoe trip; his swim shorts weren't exactly comfortable sleepwear. Following the smell of waffles, Nick found Aurora. Before she could see him, he tapped her shoulder them ducked around to the other side, taking a bite from her waffle with a laugh. "Gotcha!" he said around a mouthful of waffle.

{Whew, I thought it was just weird. Also, I would've posted earlier, but then all that wolf biz happened. . . 😂}

Finn awoke, only faintly remembering the walk back to her cabin last night. She pulled her phone out, looking at the messages from her dad, but not responding. She went to the bathroom to change into a grey hoodie, and some ripped jeans. She grabbed her flip flops, and walked out the cabin. She sat in her normal spot, putting her earbuds in again.

Aurora felt a tap on her shoulder and looked but saw no one then saw Nick out of the corner of her eye stealing some waffle. "Hey! That's my waffle you waffle stealer!" she said pointing her fork at him. She chuckled "But since it's you I can make an exception. You want me to make you your own or are you going to keep stealing mine?" she asked him smiling. She took another bite of waffle.

Nick smiled at Aurora. "Aw, thanks," he said. "But since I've already been labeled as a waffle stealer, I think I'll just keep freeloading off of yours." With that, he reached forward and pulled off a little piece, popping it into his mouth with a grin.
