The young lady gave a friendly smile in response to his "Well its nice to meet you." she said softly as she prepared to make her way to the mare barn so she could settle her horses in, being under the impression that this interaction was over it kinda of stumped her when he asked again. "Well I was just going to settle these two in and set up my gearbox the tack room, assuming they have one." she paused for a minute, maybe it would be nice to have some company. It wasn't like she found it easy to adapt to change. "But, if you want to keep me company, you're more than welcome to."

Amanda headed down the driveway in her dark blue pickup she felt incredibly excited. She parked her car and opened the door it had been about a three hour drive so she was glad to finally stretch her legs Blue leaped from the car after her and followed Amanda to the horse trailer that was attached to her car. "Hello my darlings"Amanda said opening the back of her trailer and smiling at her horses. She quickly put halters on Raven and Angel before leaving the trailer and quickly putting them in their stalls. Amanda headed back to her car to grab her stuff and headed to the girls cabin she put down her stuff on her bed. Amanda figured that she would put her things away later she headed back to Angel's stall to make sure that she was doing ok since Amanda knew Angel had trouble settling in sometimes. Amanda looked into Angel's stall and saw that Angel was standing in one corner of the stall she looked on high alert but she relaxed when she saw Amanda and nickered at her. Amanda opened the stall door and slowly walked in Blue came in as well Amanda knew that blue wouldn't do anything to hurt Angel so she continued to walk over and started to pet Angel spoke to her in a calm soothing voice.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxAxel couldn’t help but chuckle at Riot’s stubbornness as Chase struggled with the large stallion. He would have offered to help, but ultimately he knew that Riot wouldn’t hurt her, and would only be an inconvenience. The male did sometimes wonder at how she coped with three needy animals when he could barely keep up with cowboy, let alone another horse and then a dog as active and needy as shiro aswell.

Axel shook the thoughts from his head and turned his attention back to Cowboy, his loved companion. Axel offered the equine half a broken polo from his pocket, and simply smiled when the horse took it happily. After glancing around at his surroundings for a few second more he eventually settled on the idea that he would take Cowboy to the barn and let him settle in for a bit - after all, he was going to be here for awhile so he might aswell start feeling at home. [writers block // didn’t have time to finish this sorry ]

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxChase huffed as she looked at Riot. The stallion had been playing up for a good few minutes upon arriving. This behaviour for Riot was pretty much everyday behaviour but if Chase wanted to be able to get anywhere with him he'd have to swallow his dignity. Her obident canine companion stayed near her, though at a far enough distance to be out of Riot’s way if the large stallion decided to play up. Chase offered a small smile to her loyal dog, shiro, who had seemed to settled in so far - though they had only just arrived to be fair.

Taking a deep breath she sighed, looking back up at the large equine. The funny thing was that she hadn’t even been planning on getting him, let alone bringing him to palmleaf. Chase had to admit, prince was a much easier horse to get on with, but Riot did have some good qualities beneath the rarther harsh exterior - she just had to figure out a way to get through to the stubborn horse.

A rare grin broke out on Chase’s face for a few seconds as Riot complied to the her request and started walking. "stubborn animal." She chuckled. Chase grinned in triumph as Riot started walking behind her, only needing a couple of tugs on the rope to encourage him. Riot was a bit intimidating as he did stand tall at 18.2 hh, and he wasn't exactly a gentle giant but she did trust him, well, for the most part anyway. They did have a few mishaps when she first got him, and he wasn't too good around other people but she was overall proud of how much he had improved.

The sound of his hooves tapping against the concrete alerted her to the fact she was by the barn already. Clicking her tounge softly she led him into his stall, turning him around before taking the headcollar off, earning an appreciative snort from the stallion. Shaking her head she turned and closed the stall door, double checking that it was bolted before heading over to her gelding, Prince. The horse hung his head over the stall door and nudged her face with his nose, causing Chase to smile slightly. "hey kiddo, miss me?" She asked rhetorically. Peering over the stall door she noticed his feed bucket was completely empty "you were hungry eh?".

Rhys was sat half asleep in his beaten old truck, the navy blue paint peeling to reveal the semi-rusted steel beneath it. He downed he last few hundred millilitres of his energy drink before he opened the door with a slight heave. He felt his body tingle slightly as the chemicals and caffeine did their job. he tried to avoid the drinks when he could, but this car journey had taken a lot out of him, especially with Estrella's all too common tantrums in the trailer that dragged behind him. As he unlatched the trailer his mind went through, do I go for calm then crazy, or crazy then calm? He chuckled to himself. He knew Atticus would behave, but he always wanted to keep his attention on him, and Estrella took up so much attention that he couldn't lead both at once. He decided to get Estrella first, He lifted the chest barrier that restricted the large and anxious mare before untying her lead rope and allowing her to quickly plod down the front ramp of the two horse trailer. As soon as she was out she began her signature dance, some scrambling circles with some kicks out to the side for good measure. He felt bad for her. He knew this would only mean more adjustments for the change hating grey. The pale dawn sky lit up her dapples and she looked like a silver horse, dancing in the rays. Rhys waited for the mare to calm down before checking this scrap paper from his wallet before slowly making his way towards the mares barn. He planned to turn her out as soon as he could. She always acclimated better after some time to run off her nerves, she was still young after all. Rhys walked into the stall with her, turning to face the door as he removed her lilac halter. He joined his forehead to hers, a brief moment of peace. He traced his fingers along the bottom of her jaw before slowing leaving the stable, locking it, and placing her lead rope on the lock in order to stop any of her escape artist antics.

He then put his hands in his pockets now very self aware of how pushy he was being so he just smiled awkwardly to cover it up

For some strange reason, she couldn't help but smile at his response, it was clear that they were going to get along and it was really nice to have met someone she clicks with right away. It was almost as if her anxieties about coming here were all for nothing see, it isn't that bad she thought to herself before starting her way towards the barn "I'd be happy to have you tag along." she joked lightly.

He chuckled lightly and walked up beside her "Then you'll have to deal with me a bit longer" he said jokingly. He read the mood an calmed down realising that she had let her guard down a bit and he wasn't going to waste that opportunity to get to know her better.

As she headed towards the barn, Ellie allowed the two horses to pick at the grass whilst they walked. It had been a couple of hours on the float so it didn't bother her that they wanted a chew here or there, infact it was comforting as it let her know that both equines were rather relaxed and were taking the change in scenery pretty well. "So, do you live around here or did you move here?" she asked, glancing over at him whilst she spoke then to her horses to make sure they were still coming along calmly, it was actually strange how calm Zoey was being. Compared to other places they had been where she would fuss and muck up, the young mare seemed content with the move and was happy to follow Ellie into the barn.

Ellie listened politely as he spoke, how amazing it would have been to life off the coast of Scotland, she had always wanted to go there or England but had never had the chance or the money to such a thing. "Oh wow, I've always wanted to go to Scotland. Judging by the fact you lived basically there, would you recommend it?" she asked, honestly interested in his answer but given half the chance, she would probably go their anyway. It was just somewhere she longed to go. As she searched for her horses' stalls, Ellie found herself enjoying the company of the young man and hoped that they would remain friends during her time at Palm Leaf equestrian centre.
