Charisma winced and nodded sheepishly before his eyes wide with realization that the older man had said too, "Yeah, yeah I was for a year. My sister didn't want anything to do with once I was put in the system. Got beat everyday starting my second day with my foster family. All I did was tried to help and got my soul beaten out of me, after that they beat me cause I was gay." His eyes darkened and eerie look settled on Jeong Hui's face, "A person can handle so much. That human equivalent of a stale slice of bread got what he had coming. Shoulda gotten more." Charisma laughed darkly as he glanced out the side of his eyes at Lucky. His sneer turned into a soft boyish smile, "What about you?" He realized he had no idea why he was saying all of this to a person he didn't trust, but he figured maybe it's cause he believed that foster kids have to stick together

Seon Hui let out a shaky breath because she knew what Sebastian was saying was true. Her brother had obviously done some bad things and she knew that no matter what happen in that foster home could not be used as a viable excuse in a court of law. Sunny gave the officer a soft smile, "Thank you, I really appreciate this." She moved to leave the station before turning her head back to look at Sebastian with watery eyes, "I-I know that Jeongie has done some bad things, but please...please don't hurt him when you find him...please. Goodbye Officer Emmit." With that Seon Hui left this station, deep down she knew her little brother wouldn't come quietly not after the things he has been through. Sunny knew that once he was caught she would try to get his lawyer any lawyer to plead mental instability or insanity to keep him out of prison.

Red smiled when Brooklyn took the potato, most of the older members would have probably dissed it. She liked that Brooklyn at least wanted to help, which showed dedication and cooperative nature. She listened to her as she spoke about the others and what had happened. "It's not that we hate the new recruits, it's just that we're so used to having a tight knit group. And with the feds coming after us lately, it's been harder to trust newcomers." Red answered truthfully. She knew Wraith didn't mean harm, neither did the others, it was just trust issues can get in the way of things. The attention was now on Aster, who seemed to come out of the blue. She smiled at the young male, who kind of reminded her of Charisma a bit. Red grabbed a potato from the plate that she put the good potatoes on and gave it to Aster. "Here, you can join in on the potato peeling. Like I told Brooklyn here, we only have on potato peeler, so you're going to have to use a knife from the drawer over there," Red said, pointing to the same drawer she had before.

Lucky listened to Charisma speak, his words becoming quite dark each new sentence. He seemed to speak with a casual tone, acting as if this kind of thing were normal. He nodded, though, knowing the feeling of being in an abusive family. "I'm sorry he beat you. Most of my foster families used me for money, hit me, yelled at me, made me do their chores for them. That is, until I got emancipated at 16. I figured learning to live on my own without having the baggage of others was way better. I guess we have both seen some bad things. He might have not accepted you for being this way, but I know that I will and everyone here does already. This group is truly inspiring that way," Lucky said, feeling 'the feels' as well. He felt that this situation brought up some bad memories of his many, many foster homes. He hated all of them, and none of them were permanent for him. Lucky looked over at Desiree, who seemed to join in the conversation as well. He nodded to her statement, agreeing to her position. "Yeah, sadly. But I'm glad we're out now. Staying in there is a hellhole, that's for sure," Lucky added, rolling his eyes as he put his hands into his pockets.

Charisma sigh and moved past Lucky, "Look I don't know either of you and I am already tense and now uncomfortable plus starving. It's been rocky guys." Jeong Hui moved to the kitchen already with a pout on his face. He let out a small whine as he moved behind Red, crouching enough to rest his chin on Red's shoulder, "M'hungry." Charisma was very aware of how petulant he sounded, but right now he needed to be told he was a good boy. Reeed, M'not a bad boy right? Beside all the stealing and stabbing stuff, right?"

Aster smiled happily. He could help, and Red wasn't too scary so far. He obediently selected a knife from the drawer, and started trying to peel the potato. He observed how Brooklyn did it, and tried to copy her, but he was a bit messy at first. It was hard to keep the knife just peeling the skin of the potato, and also to keep cutting with the same force. Aster was good at catching onto things quickly, especially knife work, but it still took some time.
He accidentally pushed with too much force, and the knife cut his finger. Aster winced, then set to washing the knife and potato, then stuck his index finger in his mouth to stop the bleeding.
"Oops..." he muttered under his breath, hoping that his mistake wouldn't be noticed. He didn't want to ask for a band aid, because it might bother Red, but he also didn't want to look for one, because that could also bother her, and he had no idea where to look. So he just waited for the bleeding to subside, washing any excess blood off, then picked up the knife and potato again, taking more care this time.
"What are your opinions on the older members? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to. I'm just curious," Aster said, biting his lip again. He was nervous to ask, as it wasn't a question that he needed to ask. He wasn't good at making conversation either. Usually when he asked things out of curiosity, he would be reprimanded and "lightly" punished.

Jinx let go of Matt as another person stepped out onto the balcony. As Marquez appeared before and started speaking, she had officially had it for today. She looked over at Matt who was already staring back at her, the pain clear in his gaze. That was it. Seeing Matt break was the last straw for her. She rose to her feet and slowly came to stand behind him. "If you've got a problem, then get the hell out." Her voice was dripping with anger as she spoke. She was sick and tired of everyone here not getting along. If you didn't want to respect the people here, then just leave. "Your attitude isn't gonna be tolerated anymore Marq. Either get it together, or get the hell out!" As her sentence came to a close, her voice began to raise. This was not the time to mess around.

Red jumped a little bit when Charisma had put his chin on her shoulder, but adapted to it, as she was used to this notion from him. She smiled at his childish antics and patted his head after she put the potato peeler down. She had finished the potato she was on from before and put it into the pot she had prepared earlier. Red glanced at the male before grabbing another potato. "You're not a bad boy, never have been. You're the kindest human being I've ever encountered and you need not to worry about what goes on in that head of yours," Red answered, hoping that her words would cal him down. She could tell he was stressed out after the intense fight. He had never really told her about his fast, but from what he did tell her, she knew it was not a good one. Red listened to what Aster said and sighed a little bit. "The older members are nice, once you get over their personas. Wraith, for instance, isn't always like how he was today. Charisma, over here, is a giant puppy. I'm just here for moral support and of course, food. Everyone here will respect you if you respect them first, I promise you that much," Red said, smiling at the boy. She wiped her hands on her red apron, hoping to get the gross potato juices off of her hands.

Lucky watched as Charisma left, feeling a little dissed, but understood that the other didn't know him at all. The man hoped that they could get along at some point, as they would have to since they are sharing a room. Lucky turned back to Desiree, who seemed to be enjoying her lovely knife. "So, what's your deal? Your persona/backstory, I mean, if you've got one." Lucky asked, actually wanting to know about Desiree. She seemed so odd, yet so fitting for the role of a criminal. Lucky knew that he was definitely eccentric for a criminal, so he couldn't judge too much.

Charisma smiled softly and hugged the blonde from behind before letting go of her, but not moving his head. He glanced over at Aster as Red spoke, Oh! It's the boy I flustered! How you doin' better?" Jeong Hui glanced down at Red's hands, chuckling softly, Red did you know I fluster people? How could I have been so blind to my abilities?" One day he would sit down and tell Red what went down in his foster home, but not now even if he knew that it wouldn't change Red's view of him, he just couldn't risk it. Charisma grinned as he glanced over at Aster, "Are the potatoes firm or soft kiddo?"

Desiree listened as Lucky spoke well he wasn't far off Foster Care is terrible,then watched as Charisma walked out. She glanced over to Lucky as he spoke asking her the question, she shrugged lightly. "Kinda similar to yours I guess, I'm not looking for attention so I don't normally share my backstory with most but if you really wanna know I don't mind sharing..." She said simply waiting to know wether or not he would change his mind or not. He was actually probably the first to ask that? Most just went along with it, at least that's what she thinks?

"I'm better now. You were just very... unexpected," Aster told Charisma, then smiled softly to himself because Charisma seemed so childish at the moment. It was cute.
Charisma's question was random, and Aster's replied with, "Uh... The potatoes are firm...?" He just thought it was weird.
Aster was happy with Red's reply. If he worked hard enough, maybe he could even become friends with Wraith. He moved onto peeling another potato, then asked Charisma, "For clarification, am I supposed to get help from you? For knife work?" For more professional topics, Aster was pretty sure he could refrain from being too nervous. Aster also itched to ask Red to teach him how to cook, because it was a useful skill, but he decided he should put it off. He already felt a bit uncomfortable talking so much.

he nods as the guy explains that makes sense. "we've been planning a huge heist for a while now, but we were short on members, so thats why we need all these people." he responds to rascal's question. "i'll work something out with you two sharing a room together, stay out of trouble please." he says ending the conversation there as he walks back to his seat. he starts to fiddle with one of his dreads as it was coming a bit loose. i'll have to get them re-braided. he thinks to himself, but isn't sure how he'll get that done. he usually had one girl do it, but she had moved to a whole different state. he watches red cooking with the two and is glad she's being a bit more welcoming than most of the others. the last thing he would want is for another argument to break out. he yawns slightly, feeling exhausted. jahseh hardly ever got a good nights sleep because he had a mild case of insomnia, but he is definitely hoping to get some tonight.
