bella smiled politely as she listened to cara talk. "well, I ride a combination of everything really. zeus here is pretty decent at cross-country but he excels at cutting. warrior, my quarter horse mare, is fantastic at barrel racing, and elentiya, my australian stock horse thoroughbred cross, only competes in cross-country" she explained, waving her hands about as she did so. zeus angled his head a little as cara scratched him behind the ears so she could scratch his itchy-spot.

eli looked up as he heard the loud clattering of hooves on a hard surface. a girl, not much younger than him by the looks of it, was racing towards him on the back of a chestnut mare. a yelp escaped his mouth as he flung himself against the wall, narrowly avoiding being run over. "hey! watch it!" he shouted after her, feeling more pissed than he did startled. he took a deep breath through his nose, trying to control the anger bubbling up inside him. finally, he let go of the breath, feeling much calmer. eli turned and walked back to trinity's stall, suddenly wanting to start training her. he grabbed his lunging gear; a lunging rope and a lunging whip. he clipped the bay mare's purple lead rope onto her halter and lead her out of the stall, heading for the nearest round pen. luckily, it was empty. eli lead trinity into the center of the round pen and changed her lead rope over to the lunging rope. after ten minutes, he had the young mare going at a nice smooth trot around the pen, the lunging whip trailing along the ground behind her.

Farah chewed her lip as she organized based on the sudden change in stance she had touched a sore spot. Heading back to the room she dragged her suitcase in setting it on the bed before finding a comfortable but more formal outfit. The outfit consisted of a navy blue button up shirt and a white skirt that stopped a little above the knees she finished it with a pair of comfortable sandals nothing super fancy but a little less covered in dog and horse hair than most of her clothes. She walked back out looking towards the mini couch where Rivet had settled herself for a nap. Seating herself next to the dog she picked up her phone scrolling through the missed messages till it came time for dinner.

I personally do cross country, show jumping, dressage she responded as the girl mentioned a water bottle and walked out to collect it she went to grab Flynn. The mare seemed quite excited to see her as she walked into the stall barely standing still enough for her to slip on the halter. Saoirse walked her out to the cross ties to groom her and tack her. Normally she liked to work Flynn when they arrived in new places as the mare preferred to stretch after trailer rides especially long ones. Going riding with a few other riders would be a good way to get to know her fellow riders.

Liam watched Blink trot around the round pen moving smoothly for such a large horse he was oddly graceful. He danced around the pen before stopping suddenly to view a new arrival. A young man perhaps a little older than Liam walked a mare into the first round pen to his left. Blink stopped only long enough to look at the pair before he went back to gliding in lazy circles around the pen. Liam shifted his focus back to the horse in front of him as he let the gelding work out some energy.

The blonde listened as she spoke about her two horses. "Wow, two horses," she said, surprised. Roscoe on his own was a huge handful, I can't imagine having two, she thought to herself, and it made her smile despite everything. She glanced up and shook Farah's hand with a smile. "No problem," she said as she glanced down at her own watch. She would have to get home soon and wash up and change if she wanted to make it to the dinner on time. She smiled and watched Farah walk out of the tack room. "Guess I better get going," she said outloud, and she walked out of the tack room and over to the parking lot, where her gray Jeep Wrangler was. She got in and started the engine. She drove out of the parking lot and began the short ten-mile drive to her apartment to get ready for the dinner.

Saoirse backed the warmblood into the cross ties clipping them to her black leather halter. She gave the Rose grey mare a pat on the nose before hearing the other girl approaching once more. Saoirse watched as she walked into the back of the barn fetching a small grey mare who she promptly put in the cross ties and began to groom. Flynn tried to lean forward in an attempt to greet the smaller horse but was prevented by the cross ties. Rory laughed at Valour, “Yeah right.” she dropped Veni’s reins and quickly pulled her hair back into a braid. The thoroughbred pranced and she rubbed his neck. “You ready?” She turned Veni to the ‘starting line.’ Once Bravery lined up next to them, she turned and smirked to Valour and then yelled, “Go!” She squeezed her legs into Veni’s sides. Being a thoroughbred, he stretched out and his hooves dug into the ground. She raised herself up into a comfortable position over his withers and let him run. His mane blew into her face and she laughed with the joy of it. The world went by in a blur. All she could hear was hoofbeats. Loud and strong. Her braid flew out from behind her and she couldn’t help but pump her fist in excitement. This was the first time in a long time she had truly felt the power and muscle of her horse.
The tree came up faster then expected. She turned Veni sharply, Bravery and Valour right on their tail. The way back was incredible. Veni was having just as much fun as she was. Then, out of nowhere, she saw a gray flash in the corner of her eye. Veni saw it too and pushed harder. They were almost at the ‘finishing line’ and at the last second, they brushed by Valour. It took a while to slow Veni down, but once she did she turned him back around and walked him over to their opponent. When they got over to him, all she did was cross her arms and smirk. Saying, “Rory one. Valour zero.” She then jumped off of her horse’s back and hugged his neck excitedly.

Valour spurred Bravery on, the dapple grey stretching out to full speed. The tree came quickly and as they were turning, Valour lost his grip and slid off his horse's neck, tumbling to the leafy ground. Bravery skidded to a stop as he quickly stood up, brushing off the twigs and leaves that stuck to his pants before running over to his stallion and mounting again. This process was only a couple of seconds and Valour was soon back on his horse and charging after Rory. Bravery sped up and was soon on Veni's trail about to overtake him. At the last possible second Veni pulled ahead and they lost. Bravery skidded to a stop and they waited for Rory and Veni to come back over. Sticks stuck out of Valour's hair and a streak of mud traced it's way down his right cheek.

Ethan has waited for Alexis for about half an hour before he thought that she could have skipped their ride. But why didn’t she call me? Did she forget about me? He sat down in front of his laptop to waste the time until it was appropriate to leave for the dinner. His titan watch shined in the light of the display when Ethan checked his mails.

“Those are a lot of disciplines…” Western, huh? Cara draws her phone from her pocket. “Oh look at the time, I really have to hurry to be on time for the dinner!” She gave Bella a small wave and hurried off to the truck. The pony merely looked at him when he left, which was a success compared to the last times when Vince would run off as soon as he moved. Nico entered his cabin and went for his bathroom for a quick shower. Afterwards, he dressed himself himself in a light grey suit pants and a green button-down shirt. He dried his hair with a towel and then already left his cabin to walk to the event hall.
