no matter how much begging and arguing was to be had, their minds were set. bo's parent's had both decided that it was best for their family to move from the busy city life in seattle to the small town of ascot. besides, mrs. williams would have the best opportunity to build her reality business in a place as beautiful and unique as the eerily quiet town. so it was settled, in the fall bo would be starting his junior year in a new school and his younger sister abigail going into her last year of junior high. it seemed like some big punch line to a horrible joke. a boy walks into a dirty, old town and is stuck there to figure it out for himself, maybe Eiffel some sticks in their house in the woods? learn how to hog-tie a goat? he was sure not to lose his city routes because as soon as he turned 18, he was out for good.all he had to do was get through the rest of highschool alive, seems like an easy enough task, right?

The weather was cool, something he was used to, but he wasn't used to the scratch in his throat that he woke up with this morning. Maybe a cold, nothing too extreme, he was visibly groggy but he wasn't going to waste a perfectly good day by laying around and babying himself. He threw on the nearest long sleeve he could find, some grey long sleeve he achieved from a thrift store, and his favorite pair of blue jeans and old sneakers. Bo was getting used to how quiet Ascot was, which startled him a bit. He didn't want to get used to living in such a small and remote place. Without a thought of breakfast, Bo swiped his keys from his dresser and walked through his empty home-everyone must already be out- and got into the old truck his father had bought him for 200 dollars and a 30 pack not shortly after moving. Real classy. Something about "fitting in" and "making friends," which he wasn't all to worried about. He wasn't exactly shy after all. So that's where he was headed, into town to see if anyone from school might be out and about so he could tag along. Who knows, maybe he'd find a hitch hiker or two on the way.

Chris moved down the road and watched the car corn forward sticking out her thumb out trying to get him to stop before waving her hands with a bug grin in her face and her eyes a light, "Finally!" She gasped as she has been walking for what felt like forever she tried to look in the car rocking back and forth her orange curls moving in the wind

Bo wasn't paying much attention before he saw a girl run out in the road to flag him down. He swerved a couple of feet, even if he wasn't going to hit her, and slammed on his breaks. "What the hell!" He yelled through the window, she could probably see his heartbeat from where she was standing. "I could've killed you!" He looked towards the road again, taking a deep breath and rubbing his face. Bo took a couple deep breaths- in three seconds and our three seconds- before finally asking, "...Are you okay, miss?"

“Thanks for stopping, I needed to make sure I wasn’t the only sane one in this godforsaken town” she sighed and hugged herself blowing out a breath before sticking out her hand, “I’m Christie Repute, but please call me Chris. Do you live here? I feel like I haven’t seen you before,. “ she ran a hand through the orange curls of her hair and studied him with her bright blue eyes, “But yes I’m fine, and I know you could’ve killed me, most people wouldn’t have tried to swerve.” She chuckled softly,”Good to know you’re awake”

A breathy sigh emitted his mouth, making a small cloud when mixing in with the cold air now filling the truck. "Yeah, uh, I'm Bo Williams, I just moved into that house just about a mile away from here in the woods a couple weeks ago..." He looked at the girl, though her features weren't exactly girly, and gave a hesitant but warm smile. "I wouldn't exactly call yourself sane!" An abrupt laugh slipped out with the sentence, "For all you know, I could be some crazy convict on the loose." The boy didn't look much like a convict. Perhaps that's why she flagged him down in the first place, after all he was seventeen with barely a hair on his face. Boyish looks, a kind face. Some would call it a blessing, he thought of it more as a curse. A baby face wasn't exactly what girls his age were looking for!
