Plot

In a time where global unity starts to become more crucial than ever, several royal families from across the world agree that they must re-establish connections and support between each other. So, they each decide to send their heir to Sweden, where they will be spending two weeks, in order for them to meet one another - and with the heavily implied intention for them to also find a wife/husband in the process. Together, they'll be spending the two weeks staying with the Swedish royal family in their palace, with many opportunities for them to explore Stockholm together, along with there being a formal event for their second evening so that they can meet one another, and another one on their last evening, where potential engagements (if any) are meant to be announced. But while it's a perfect opportunity to gain assets and allies, not everyone will get along, as they are subtly expected to make an important decision that will take an effect in their own lives, and for their own country.

However, you may also request for an additional role to be made, but only if there's two or three places remaining and you really don't want to fill those places (though it is preferable that all open roles are filled before any additional roles are added. Rules
- As per usual, all of the board rules apply.
- No Mary Sues/Gary Stus/God modding.
- PM me to reserve - they last for 24 hours. You are allowed up to two characters.
- Do not join if you will not be active. If I don't think that you'll be active in the roleplay, then I will reject your character.
- Interact with other characters and don't leave anyone out! That said, don't just wait around for someone to interact with you - actually get involved with the roleplay instead of constantly asking which characters are open.
- Every post should be about a paragraph of 4-5 sentences for each character. Writer's block is understandable, but constant one- or two- liners will be not acceptable.
- Genders don't have to be even, but do take into consideration how many of each 'type' of character there is, so that we can be diverse! (example: skinny, white, straight girls).
- Additionally, consider the country your character is the heir of. The heir of Brazil, for example, won't be white.
- All characters must be 20-24.
- No OOC drama. If there's a problem, then please PM me.

Ruben walked through the airport terminal, pulling a somewhat large suitcase along behind him. He would have brought a servant along to move his luggage for him, but he was told that there would be no need. Besides, no one else would be bringing a servant. Perhaps it was a good thing, though, because most of the other servants that would have been available were taller than he was. Which he hated. But was - he'd admit only to himself - useful for when things were placed inconveniently out of the way, and he needed to reach them. The flight had been very short - just slightly over an hour long - so he wouldn't exactly have needed much more anyway. But the luxuries were still nice. He wondered who else was going to be there as well - it would be interesting to see which other countries were a part of this. Not many, he knew that, possibly only around ten, including Norway and Sweden. He found it odd that he'd never met the heir of Sweden, despite Norway literally being next door - but he had met the current rulers, and knew that they were fairly nice. To him, anyway. He also decided that he'd definitely have to make everyone go skiing or play ice hockey at some point, because he wasn't sure if he'd be able to go two weeks without doing at least one of those.

Soon enough, Ruben started to approach the exit area - where families and other people would wait for passengers from flights. Apparently, he was meant to be meeting up with the heir of Sweden - Elvira, if he remember her name correctly - and then waiting for the other heirs before going to the palace.

Mirembe woke up about fifteen minutes before her flight was due to land. Her flight had taken eight and a half hours, and had been quite a bit more exhausting than she would have originally thought, especially considering that she was just mostly sitting there. So, about a couple of hours into the flight, she'd opted to go to sleep for a while, just to make sure that she was refreshed and ready to meet the other heirs. From what she had been told, most of the other countries were European, which would be interesting for her. She looked forward to meeting the others, but as she was so used to the heat, she thinks that she brought more clothing and layers than she thought she'd need. It would be quite cold in Sweden, she suspected, and not something that she was used to. But she was excited for it anyway - an out-of-country adventure was just what she'd been hoping for. She was slightly nervous, because she wouldn't have one of her guards or servants with her, but she knew that she'd more than likely be safe. Hopefully.

Stepping off the plane, she waved to her flight attendants and pilot, then went inside, collecting her luggage, and walked through the terminal. As there didn't seem to be anyone else around, she walked with quite a bounce in her step, looking around at the interior of the terminal as she passed through it. It felt as though everything was so shiny and new, and she loved it. It wasn't Uganda, of course, but she obviously couldn't expect it to be.

Emilia stretched as she got off the plane her flight was just under four hours, she was - as always - excited to be in Sweden, a change of scenery was always something Emilia wanted. Yes she enjoyed Spain, but she'd been there for most of her life and was tired of doing the same things every day going to Sweden was what she needed: a nice break, Emilia kept a smile as she picked up her luggage it felt nice to not have anyone following her around all day, she could finally be independent for once. She really wanted to know who the other heirs were she hadn’t met any of them prior to now, Emilia hoped she could make a good first impression and then go from there, she wasn’t the best at introducing herself or keeping a conversation, a lot of things just interested her and it caused her to get distracted when speaking, a bad habit she needed to fix.

Emilia stepped outside and took a deep breath she was a little nervous, but not enough to keep her from being excited. She was supposed to be meeting with the heir of Sweden, Elvira, though she didn’t see her. Not knowing how long Elvira would be Emilia went back inside and took a seat on one of the chairs in the lobby.

---- Closing his book, Luka stands from his seat and adjusts the lapels of his suit. It wasn't a terribly long flight and he's used to traveling (and it didn't hurt that the plane is comfortable), so he feels fine despite how common it is for people to get tired or sore. He smiles and says goodbye to both the pilot and the flight attendant before descending the steps to exit the plane, pulling out his phone and switching it off of airplane mode. It wasn't entirely necessary, but there was benefit in taking a break from electronics regardless. Immediately, his screen lights up with incoming messages from either his family or the various advisers who also sit on the council, causing Luka to sigh. Putting the phone to his ear, he accepts a call from his father's primary adviser as he begins to walk towards the terminal.

Walking to his right and slightly behind is Dominik, who carries a suitcase, which is the only bag aside from the briefcase Luka carries. Though officially holding the title of bodyguard, Dominik also does some general assistance duties, namely making sure that Luka isn't flooded with anything trivial. More importantly, he's a time tested friend that Luka can be honest towards, so the Heir was disappointed to learn that his invitation did not extend to Dominik. Having already briefly argued over it in the plane, that fact didn't stop Dominik from deciding to walk with Luka to the terminal for security reasons. Nearing the terminal and already spotting where he's supposed to meet the others, Luka hangs up on the principal adviser and slips his phone back into his pocket. Dominik and Luka shake hands, nodding to each other in an inexpressive way of communicating that the separation isn't ideal, but they'll see each other in two weeks. "Nie daj się zabić. Nawet jeśli mnie tam nie ma, to zrujnowie mój doskonale dobrą historię pracy." Dominik says and Luka raises one eyebrow while replying with deadpan sarcasm. "Tak, ponieważ to byłby najważniejszy wynik mojej śmierci. Zobaczymy się za dwa tygodnie." Grabbing the handle of the suitcase, Luka makes his way over towards the other heirs. He didn't want to come on this trip, since many of the people there aren't active in the politics of their countries, but it would be seen as disrespectful to reject the invitation and his parents had been pressuring him towards marriage for years now.

jaya stopped the repeated tapping of her fingers against her knee as her plane came to a stop at the terminal. she opened her eyes and quickly stood, pulling her carry-on down from it's compartment and left the sanctuary of her private plane after thanking her employees. only a few minutes later she was striding down the aisles, her slight heels making a tapping sound that echoed around, luggage to be sent later. she quickly called her mother to update her on her arrival before heading to the meeting place. she honestly thought that the idea for alliances was logical and at least for her country, one that was needed. however the second half.. the 'hidden' part where some alliances may need a marriage to uphold it.. that she disliked. there was something about it that made her skin crawl and deep down she knew that making a connection to others would be her undoing. she just didn't like people. an arranged marriage to a man she had never met before was much more up her alley, and with her status it would be easy. a mix between the cold and the idea caused her to shiver as she approached the meeting place.

tadala twirled several of her braids together, fingers flying. she never liked flying despite how much of it she did. there was something about the idea of potentially dying in a traumatic, fiery plane crash was not the way she wanted to go. she couldn't help her nervousness while in the air, foot jiggling as she braids her braids together. it didn't help that her flight had taken half a day and it had meant to be an over-night but she hadn't been able to sleep the entire time. after a bit she was finally heading to the meeting place. she couldn't wait to meet up with the rest of the heirs, several she knew already and others she didn't. besides, sweden seemed like an interesting country and she couldn't wait to explore the sites. it certainly wasn't south africa but being able to live in a different climate for awhile would be interesting. in her excitement she started to hum as she made her way to the meeting.

as soon as the plane from china to sweden landed in the airport, the heir of china smiled. to say that chengxie was excited would be an understatement, the young man was well beyond that at this point. not only did he view the trip as a great opportunity to get away from china for a while (something that he was rarely able to do unless he went to taiwan) but he was incredibly excited to meet all the other people that would be there. he was almost certain that a large majority of the heirs were from europe, but he didn't mind that at all. on the contrary, he found meeting the european heirs very exciting.

the young man dragged his suitcase along as he approached the exit area, glad to finally get the chance to stretch his short legs.
of course being small (as well as royalty) meant that he had enough leg room throughout the long flight, but one can only move so much in an airplane. it only took chengxie a few glances around the large room in order to determine the meeting place. even in casual clothing, a royal is hard to miss. with that, he quickened his pace, almost bouncing over to the group in order to get there as quick as possible (although he assumed he wasn't the last one to arrive due to the groups relatively small number, chengxie hated the idea of having people wait too long for him). upon his arrival, chengxie let go of his suitcase and greeted the others with a bow (a 45° bow, to be precise).

n was long to say the least and jess was severely jet lagged, but at least she was able to sneak her boa constr
ictor onto the plane. okay, she didn't sneak babydoll onto the plane. they mysteriously let her take the snake
onto the plane, which kind of seemed like a really bad movie pun.

as the taxi pulled up in front of her, the princess spoke, her aussie accent thick and clear, "the palace. please."
the taxi driver scoffed at her, with a smirk. "what's a girl like you need to go to the palace for?" tossing her ha
ir over her shoulder, she gave the driver a dead serious look. "look, mate. ive got a snake in my suitcase, and
babydoll doesn't take too kindly to mean people. so take me to the palace, now."
